Oh, yeah !!  I remember them as well - oh dear showing my age now !!  ;) ;D  And remember them etch-a-sketches things that must of been the early prototype of the proper etch-a-sketch ?  they was made out of cardboard and you drew on them with a wooden stick thing and then pulled the side to clear the 'screen' !!!   ;D ;D

this xmas i got the 2006 fa cup dvd from my brother. the sad thing is id spent the best part of 06 looking for it so its been coping a flogging from the moment i unwrapped it!
although an airfare from australia to liverpool spending money and tickets to a couple of premier league games before we shift stadiums would've been good. i live in hope!

I have to admit i do remember the early etch-a-sketch, i also got a game one year called crossfire where you had to fire ball bearings from a gun (a game that would get you an asbo nowadays!) to knock a bigger ball bearing threw a goal. The goals where soon dispensed with and me and my brother just tried firing at anything else that moved.
One year we moved into the electronic age and got the first playstation type game, but all you could play was tennis and the bleeping noise that accompanied it still gives me nightmares today and i cant watch Casualty without getting the jitters. :)

Cross fire was class!! Many an hour was spent shooting those ball bearings into the opposite goal!!
Your right about the ASBO though, even back then we used to lift the guns off the table and take them out and fire the ball bearings at unsuspecting girls on our estate! A bit naughty that  :o

Remember 'top trumps', I've still got Liverpool 1981 / 82.

I used to spend hours playing with these cards.
