      Eugh. Awful.

Zonal marking...its kind of like asbestos. We know its hazerdous to health and therefore have stopped using it...well...nearly stopped using it.

Arbeloa was the only one trying imo, pathetic. Like Ross, I thought we were going to hit around 3 past them after Torres' goal. We did get battered tbh.

It's not impossible, Man Utd 1-4 Liverpool will give me the hope and belief to do this at SB and im sure it will with a lot of Reds. It'll be difficult, but, "Impossible Is Nothing"

Also if they can score 3 at Anfield, we can score 3 at SB.

Truth about tonight is, that was Liverpool from six weeks ago. Take a one-nil lead and try and defend it rather than go for the kill like we have done in recent weeks. It's cost us in the past, it's cost us tonight and if we persist with trying to do that it'll cost us in the future.

And when you've got players defending the way ours did tonight, then a 1-0 lead won't ever be enough. And when you've got attacking players being pretty much non existant once we scored, then it's highly unlikely you'll get a second.

Dreadful performance by so F***ing many of the lads tonight it was unreal.

And despite conceeding three, Reina was head and shoulders above anything else tonight. He's the reason why it's only three and not five or six. He was the only one who showed any sort of urgency when we needed to score a second. He was just unlucky to be let down by the other 13 players who took to the field tonight.

I'm feeling really down but I felt worse after the Boro game because in Europe we always produce something special when it matters.

There is no point looking for excuses or blaming individuals like Lucas because at the end of the day not one of them showed the passion and quality they usually do, not even Torres, regardless of the fact he scored. They only have themselves to blame but you learn from your mistakes and destroy them in the 2nd leg.

I think the early goal was the worst thing we could have done because they just took their foot off the pedal and seemed happy to sit back and try and take a 1-0 lead to the Bridge, we didn't show them enough respect.

The defence, as has been stated was shambolic. Absolutely shambolic.

This in turn affected the confidence of the midfield, as they were thinking they'd have to track back alot to help out.

And again, in turn affected Gerrard and Torres, who, whilst the midfield were defending, had virtually no distribution.

Now people let's face it. Chelsea were by far the better team tonight. No question. But how often do we have two dodgy defensive displays in a row?

      Very, very rarely.

The Blackburn game will tell us a hell of a lot about this squad in my view.

Huge game, we need to get this one out of our system fast (something United failed to do when we beat them).

It was just one of them nights where nothing really happened for us after the first 15 mins!! At least we can go out and play without fear in the 2nd leg cos we've got nothing to lose!!

We cant be that bad twice can we?

to be honest as well what has really cost us tonight was our defending at corners it was awful two free headers in the six yard box from corners you wouldn't see that in Sunday football.

      Either 3-0 or 3-1.

Certainly not impossible going by our recent displays.

3-0 to progress to the semi-finals, 3-1 would take it into extra time.

      4-2 would also do it.

Two goals=not enough, as they have more away goals.

We have to score at least three, then it depends on how many they get.

      |Why is that a stupid comment? I don't honestly think that we'll get through. So out of the remaining teams, Barca deserve it.

Lets not look back, we need to look forward, I'm warming up to the idea of us hammering up Chelsea in their own half and playing out of our skins. 4 weeks ago we wern't in the title race, now look at us. We're up against the ropes, but we need to pick ourselves up as soon as possible. There is still a lot of football to be played.

Whenever I've seen Ivanovic I've thought he looks pretty decent, to be fair he had an excellent game tonight. He's strong and much quicker than I first thought. God knows then why they play Alex over him!

Lucas didn't have a bad game, but Alonso obviously doesn't feel comfortable with him in midfield. Alonso's passing was off all game.
I reckon we can do em at the bridge, because let's be honest, the place is a library.
