This was said by a 28 year old PC, pity those of higher rank can't admit their guilt

They wont because they cant face the truth
they are to blame

 I gasped and cried when I heard watching the Memorial Service that the current Chief Constable of the South Yorkshire Police had admitted (albeit unconfirmed at this time) that they accept ful responsibility. What does everyone think?

I know they are late to admit it but thank god they have admitted it now, every year they have let by has just made it worse and worse.

It is of no real value for a modern day policeman to come out and admit responsibility. We all know the truth, the whole world knows the truth. True justice can only be done after the people who were negligent on that fateful day are punished, and those who lied in the aftermath to cover up the negligence are severely punished.

If those police had of been honest from the start 20 years ago the worst they would have faced would have been minor punishments for criminal negligence. If they had of come out and admitted they were poorly trained, poorly led, and made some critical errors of judgement, everyone would have seen it as a tragic accident and moved on with their lives.
Instead, they chose to lie, and worse still besmirch the name of Liverpool football fans, accusing them of all kinds of awful behaviour in an attempt to cover up the truth.

Some idiot saying he let hillsborough down wont bring closure or any justice to those poor 96 and poor families, friends whatever because of some idiot who wasnt trained or couldnt handle the situation

People need to be brought to justice for a crime that was committed. Because that's what it was, a crime. The police, FA and other members of the establishment need to be brought to justice. The truth.

I agree, I find it uncomprehendable that the evidence is there, everyone knows who's fault it was and still no one has been held accountable. Justice needs to be brought to those people who lost their lives that day and for all their families and friends.

About bloody time.

Its little consolation in my opinion for the families that someone who is now in charge of the South Yorkshire police now to come out and say it. Yes it is good that the person said it but...

It is the one's in charge at the time of the disaster that should be the people accountable along with the South Yorkshire police. Until that person is held accountable, we all know who it is, justice will not be served.
