Yeah. We aren't fated to win this. Seriously. Because everytime we score 2 goals, they peg us back, immediately. But still a proud Red today because of the effort the lads put in. Real hard fight but at the end of the day we are not destined to win.

Our defence is a F***ing shambles to be honest. Skrtel and Carragher looked like they have been partnered for the first time.

I am so dissapointed we were the better side over the two legs that first half we absolutely mauled them. Heaven knows why we gave them the respect in the second half and allowed them back in the game. Well clearly now we have to focus on the title!

This defeat hurts even more knowing that we were so close at 2-0 and then 4-3 for a few minutes I am absolutely gutted. Well in to the lads that fought tooth and nail to the end. If anything I have concluded from this defeat that I hate Chelsea with a passion their fickle fans and Drogshits diving antics are a disgrace to football.

Well said mate. We've done our best and the players fought till the last minute. Thats just what our club does every game no? Determination, passion, commitment from every player 100%.

This thread has 26 pages. Amazing. I had my heart in my mouth the whole game. Amazing to watch from a neutral, and nevertheless a great effort by the players. Twice we nearly did the Istanbul, but they hit us back immediately and that just cost us.

Im so proud of the lads tonight, gutted we didnt win of course but they showed the sign of true champions and produced a display that will be talked about for years.

But most of all, im proud of the travelling faithfull.  All you could hear was YNWA
