      Must admit - am not too confident especially when I read things like this in the paper

      ...Benitez will be reassessing his priorities today ahead of the return of Arsenal in the Carling Cup, but he's confirmed Jerzy Dudek will keep his place.

      Trophyless season for us Im afraid after this performance( and please dont anyone tell the community sheild is a trophy). Would have to say Dudek should have done better on both goals to be honest. But wtf has Paletta been doing that foul against Baptista was just not needed. I think Paletta will be coming off at half time and being replaced by Carra, simply not good enough Im afraid. This will really knock confidence now, I live in hope we can pull something out the bag in the second half I really do. Arsenail have bullied us into this I tell you and some of the Ref decsion making has been very bad Fowler should have had free kicks all over the place he has been kicked from pillar to post here tonight, but shows what a true pro he is by not moaning and whinging just by getting on with it. I pray we can pull our socks up in the 2nd half
