Someone will have to put a charge on why not Poulter he has been solid so far. I never liked the mark one version of Tiger Woods he never respected his opponents and was a bit of an arse. He has however had more than his fair share of Karma dumped on him and I would really like him to win today.

Absolutely unbelievable from Tiger Woods. After all he has been though. To win a 5th Masters. Nothing short of amazing stuff.

He’s done it!! His 5th green jacket! Never thought I’d see him win again. Was rooting for Jason Day (as I do every major) but WOW what a win.

Thought I had it all planned.  Record the golf yesterday, watch the football and then watch the golf as if it was on a normal Sunday masters evening.

One of the little kids must have switched the recording off.

Luckily iPlayer lets you go back two hours so managed to watch it from about the 9th hole.  Great win for Tiger Woods.  I remember loads of people saying he would never get back to playing on the tour never mind winning a major.

Could well go on now to eclipse Jack Nicklaus's record of 18 but even if he doesn't I think he will probably go down as the GOAT.

Nicklaus only managed the one major in his 40's.  Woods is going to have to get 4 (one yesterday) to match him.

Still got Koepka -7, Schaufflele -6, and Rahm -5 in with a chance. Thomas and Fowler on -3. Do these multiple £1 bets if I don't have a stand out pick. Bit of extra interest.Love to see Woods go on and win it all the same. Surprised that one of my picks Rose hasn't bloomed. Casey as well. Both missed cut.

Had a good run for my money and it was great to see Tiger win it. My picks had their chances but in the end Tiger's experience and handling the pressure etc won out in the end.Tiger in contention is a forceful power. Will he now match Jack Nicklaus hall of 18 majors..Tiger now on 15. Very doubtful that he will do it.

First tee announcer at the U.S. PGA Championship just let us know that Tyrell Hatton is from "Engrund," before quickly correcting himself. Tyrell got quite a chuckle over that one just before hitting his shot.

Makes me wish they would show it whenever Jazz Janewattananond tees off.

Would love to be able to sit up and watch the US Open but just don't think the eyes will stay open that long.

Don't even know if I'll be able to sit and see the leaders tee off at the first around 10pm.

Had a wee flutter on Rose before he tee'd off yesterdy at 9/2 so in with a good shout.

Robert Rock shoots a 60 at the Irish open.Course and event record.Amazed as I thought he was more of a coach these days.Hope he wins it but a lot of good players close enough for Rock to be 3/4 favourite to win.Pity Mcilroy decided not to play.

The Open starting on Thursday at Royal Portrush.Hard pick with so many great players. My 3 best picks are Mcilroy,Stenson and Justin Thomas. As all sports,Cricket,Golf,Tennis and of course our great win giving so much drama of late, lets hope the Open goes to a dramatic play off.

Woods only pitched up today. Can never rule him out but he'll have to hit the ground running. Each way bets, get 1/5 for the first 7 with some if you place your bet 24 hours before the first tee off.

Matt Wallace,Fleetwood and Matsuyama each way picks. Whatever happens I'll enjoy it.

Rory's challenge over on the first hole.

Yeah he'll need to shoot a 3 under from his position now, to get back to 1 or two over. He's not out of it. The conditions could easily see the field come back to par after round two. The forecast is not great.Difficult to pick a winner as the conditions level play up.
