Great Masters this year.   Mickelson played the round of his life on Sunday to win it.  Not to mention hitting 2 EAGLES in a row, at Augusta.  Unreal.

      He totally dominated all week.

Is there only me watching this? The course is the most scenic thing I've ever seen. Awe inspiring! Shame the greens aren't the same!

      Another Tiger Woods scandal.

Apparently he was seen out on the town with the dog in the Joel Monaghan picture scandal.

I cant wait for the Masters.....I live in Georgia and I am currently in the lottery for the Practice Round tickets. Hopefully I win.  If I do I would gladly trade them for some Liverpool tix.   Any takers?

Anyone else catch that brilliant spell from Tiger?

He's straight back in this one now.

Been watching all night. Tiger was unreal, and I would imagine those around him will be getting incredibly nervous if he keeps this up.

Set himself up very nicely for the weekend, and I would love to see him win it. Great performance, and we haven't seen him hitting like that for quite a while.

Been watching this, anyone else agree the bbc's coverage is better than Sky's? It's getting very intresting, lots of players playing well, would like to see Rory win bug any British or European winner would be good! Hope big Phil does well though.

Always liked BBC coverage of the Masters and haven't seen Sky's but I'm hoping Rory can hold out and win this.

I don't really like Rory something about him.

I think Choi has set himself up perfectly to go on and win this, while all eyes have been on Woods and the leaders he has been under the radar keeping himself busy and in contention.

Think Tiger has been unlucky today a few years ago a few of them putts would have dropped and he really should be closer to the leaders. However he is still in with a good shout of winning it tomorrow.

Like i said earlier though, Choi could be the one to take that green jacket.

I like Rory as a golfer but also it would be great for me to see a local lad win The Masters ( he's from the same County as me).

Agree that Choi could be his biggest threat.

Also be interesting to see if McIlroy can hold his nerve.

Great time for Rory to sink that birdie on the 17th. Gone 12 under now, will be interesting to see how he copes with the pressure of being leader on the final day.

Definitely has the ability to do so, but being in a situation like this, that he has never been in before and also the added pressure of aiming to be the first golfer from the UK since Faldo to win.

That looks like Tigers hopes gone aswell with that Bogey on the 18th. Can't see him closing a 7 shot gap. Really a shame how he played today, because I think everyone wants him to get back to as good as we know he can be, but he's only shown glimpses of his genius but no consistency.

Can't wait for tomorrow now, think it's going to be a great round and there is a few in contention to win it now.

How amazing would it be, if Rory wins, then half the world's golfing majors will hail from Northern Ireland. ;D

I've got conflicting interests tonight. One being Rory McIlroy, a fellow countryman and a genuinely great guy winning his first major.  The other being £2 on Charl Schwartzel at 66-1 lying joint second atm on -8. ;)

Honestly, I hope to God McIlroy wins!
