Green Day - "21st Century Breakdown"

Pure, unadulterated quality! I don't care if you beg, steal or borrow it - but get it! 8)

Very rare you get a proper 'start to finish' album. Some of my favourite albums have the odd song you still skip. Could possibly be a product of the quality around them, who knows?

I'd say Kings of Leon - Because Of The Times is one of those start to finish albums. From Knocked Up to Arizona, there isn't a bad song and it's got that perfect blend between light and heavy. Quite important when trying to get an album to have that special feel. THe latest Kings of Leon album is good but I just don't think Seventeen is as good as the songs around it.

Another brilliant album is Coldplay - Rush Of Blood To The Head. Some of my favourite songs on this album and it's very mellow, with the odd dash of an upbeat song. The Scientist, Green Eyes, Amsterdam. All quality. Parachutes is also up there in terms of listening to it right through. Plus they've both got hidden tracks which are very rewarding.

It's good to see so many different tastes and opinions in this thread. The world would be a boring place if everyone liked the same stuff.

^^^ "Because Of The Times" is a great call CRK. It plays like one, beautiful 50 minute track - seamless from start to finish.  8)

Timepiece by Terry Callier. A beautiful album. Described at the time by the Guardian as '' Songs taken from Gods own songbook''.
