Following today's recent headers. I thought I should make a thread of your favourite headers, or best headers. I'll start us off with a classic from Sami. :) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IE6toMwtRWw#
      P.S Sorry for commentary  :D

      You want good?

      You want old fashioned?

      I can do both.

Ian St John.   FA Cup Final v Leeds.

      May 1st 1965.

      He was horizontal.

Too right Ally, that's what I was going to say.

You could seeit today. His first wasn't on target but the sheer power, it was as rock solid as full whack swing of the leg. Those headers can break nets!

Can't find the video on Youtube but who remembers that header that Fernando Morientes scored in the Kop end?  Absolutely sensational.

Or Luis Garcia's phenominal header from inside the edge of the box that flew in to the top corner?  Class.

Totally agree with Lazyfingers Kuyt's a great headerer of the ball. The goal he scored at the Reebok was absolute class. Nando's not half bad either. Vital  late goals versus Chavs's and Portsmouth with the head won us those matches

Best Header is McMahons header from outside the box against I can't remember who....

      Other memorable ones
      - Rushie's goal in the FA cup final against the bitters

-Fowler header in the last minute V Newcastle (the second 4-3)

-Paul Walsh against Scum at Maine Road in FA cup semi

-Ruddock to equalise 3-3 against scum was rather painful for him!!

      Not so memorable
-Riisse against Chelski  for Chelski last season!!

Won't be seeing any of Hyypia's headers any more :(

Hope he gets a Kop runout or something soon and hopefully a testimontal game for him. Legend. Would like to see him score on his last match on the Kop, with his head!

We are all gonna miss him.

I'm not sure who it was against, I'm pretty sure it was in the Champions League but Luis Garcia's header from outside the area that looper over the goalkeeper and in. The way he shaped his head and angled it was unbelievable!

Any of Sami's really, incredible header of a ball. That goal against Arsenal was sensational.

That was a brilliant goal and I can still picture it after all these years,Albert Stubbins was another fearless center forward and he scored some brilliant goals with his head.Like StJohn he would also be horizontal at times.

True, it was a hell of a header by St john and deserves a shout coz it won us the F.A cup for the first time, but still for me its got to be Terry Macs.
