With Aurellio out injured it might not be a bad thing that the transfer has fell through but when he is fit again i think he will be on his way then but will we get the same money that is being offered now.

Maybe having Aquilini around might make him more settled. He has got a great left foot but still prefer insua. Just want to c more rafa signings succeed rather than be sold for less than we bought them for

I don't think he's going to be sold now.

Nothing has come out for weeks.

I thought he wanted to join Napoli, he wont play anyway because insua will be first choice left back

Rafa might give him a few odd games as a left mid too considering he has done a  bit better when asked to play further up the pitch.

Yeah he wasnt at all bad there (Fulham game), more pace than Riera but obviously less talented. He could do a job against the smaller teams where the right back is slow and Rieras trickery is not needed, giving him a decent rest. But then again theres Babel for pace. Doss should get about 20-25 games i guess.

looks increasingly unlikely Doss will go, I hope a transfer was not hinging on getting his fee.

Btw xabigerrard shouldn't you be albertogerrard now or are you still waiting for Cattermole to sign??

Doss wore 12 against Lyn, reckon he should keep it, Aurelio 3, Degen 6 (sadly), the 7 is tricky, either Kuyt or nobody. Not even Silva IMO.
Dont see Dross leaving now IMO, maybe loan him back to Italy in Jan, hopefully he plays well there and the price rises by the end of the season.

Think he will be staying now, well until the winter window when we have all our defenders back from injury.

      Dossena exit dismissed
Agent does not expect Reds defender to move on
Andrea Dossena's agent claims his client is unlikely to leave Liverpool during the transfer window.

The Italy international has been the subject of much speculation this summer, with a return to Serie A widely touted.

The full-back only moved to Anfield from Udinese last year, but has struggled to make an impact in England.

That has helped to fuel exit rumours, with Juventus and Napoli both believed to be keen on offering him a route back to his homeland.

However, the Italian transfer window is set to close on Monday and Dossena's representative believes there is little chance of a deal being struck.

"I am about to arrive in Milan," said Roberto La Florio to calciomercato.it.

"I know nothing regarding those rumours (Juve and Napoli).

"I have read those stories myself it's only rumours.

"I don't think he will return to Italy, it's difficult for an agreement to be reached today.

"I really think it's too late."

Also, Juventus have signed Fabio Grosso from Lyon, so Dossena is out of the question for them.

No this is bad we needed to get him out now because he is only going to make is price tag drop while sitting on are bench for a year.

F***ing hell, he is worse than last season to. Didn't even pop up with a fourth against Bolton, and thats the only good thing he could do last season.
