Michael Jackson This is it Tour 2009/2010 02 Arena, London

I can't seem to find anything related to this on the boards but if there is please move this post.  So I was just thinking that I would love to go and see him at the 02 on the 24th July for my birthday but ticket prices are ridiculously high and only available certain places.  Anyone on here going to this tour at all?

Michael Jackson’s much-ballyhooed London shows may not go on, if lawyers for his family’s tour-in-the-making get their way. AllGood Entertainment - the company that is putting together a series of concerts with Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, and their brothers - has fired off a cease-and-desist letter to the people organizing Jacko’s London concerts in July. Apparently, back in November, Whacko Jacko’s manager Frank Dileo signed a deal that promised Jackson would do the family tour. As part of the deal, the King of Pop was to refrain from any other concert deals for 18 months. Jackson’s attorneys claim that Michael never signed the family-tour agreement and his manager did so without his knowledge

If it is to be believed then the ticket companies are gonna be shelling out thousands back in refunds (that's if they don't get around it) but surely the shows will still go on..... won't they? regardless of what has happened over the last couple of years in his personal life I still stand by the fact that he is an innocent man and is one hell of a good musician and a living legend, it would be a crime to music fans everywhere if this tour was cancelled.

I'm going to see him live at the o2, got my tickets the day they went on sale, mind you, they were not cheap!

Going to July 24th one i think. My dad got the tickets and they were a couple of hundred each.


I want to see the final one at the o2 on Feb 24th 2010 as it's a day after my birthday but doubt will be able to get hold of some tickets.

The date your going is ideal for me (24th July) as my bday is 2 days before! I can't find any reasonable priced tickets though (to be expected I guess)

Good luck with that, they don't even send the tickets until about 5 weeks before

But none the less i think i will head over to Malta just in case you do try nabbing my tickets when they arrive.

Deffo worth the money though, I saw him when he played at Aintree Racecourse many years ago, absolutely fantastic concert.

I heard (dunno how true it is) that Rolf Harris has painted all the sets and back-drops for Michael's "This Is It Tour" at the O2.

.... and as by way of a thank you; Jacko said he would be doing two little boys at the end of each show.
