Yes and a little tweak in some of the departments that needed to be improved, we should see a new Liverpool, a ruthless and devastating power of Liverpool Football Club next season!

      Dam. Absolutely gutted.
But everyone, just take a second to think about who has been the best team in England, actually, the best team in club football this year. Us.

This season we've outplayed them twice and ran out deserved winners 2-1 and 1-4 at anfield and old trafford respectively.
Our players have outplayed theirs when you compare them with each other.
Our fans are still the best in the world, unlike the shitbags at Old trafford leaving 20/30 minutes from the end in some games.
We have to be proud of ourselves. We've fought back in so many games to keep this title race going all the way to the end but in so many games, Utd have had so much luck that we haven't. Not to mention having the 12th man every F***ing game.
Once again Liverpool FC are the team to be feared by everyone.
We should haver had #19 this season. Don't let the fact that utd have equalled our record let you believe that they're as good as us. This time next season they'll miss being level with us and they'll be playing catch up again.

Let's not forget we won 18 league title not because of our sound financial state but because of the hardwork and dedication of our players and fans! We were beaten by a team that has more money and divers not more determination!

When we last won the league, Hansen said that there wasn't the celebrations that were to be expected, because they knew that they hadn't played all that well... I have a feeling United have the same sombre attitude right about now

Yes!United clinched the title BUT...next season they'll be clinging to their dear lives as we rip them apart and scatter their carcasses around the toilet bowl seater stadium to be feasted us. This will be their 18th and last time they'll be seeing this trophy again!

Not just bad news for us today but bad news for Newcastle and Boro, sunderland etc. because it means that Hull look more likely to take points off utd next weekend to keep themselves up and relegate the others. Plus maybe gives west brom a slightly higher chance of getting  points tomorrow.

As robbyr said at the top of the page, i'm not going to buy any papers or watch any telly for the next few days now. Probably for the best as this must be the media's happiest day of the season

Knocked us off our perch indeed.

      Gutted, but not really surprised.

I only watched about 30 minutes of the second half, but it told me all I needed to know about the game. Arsenal and Wenger literally didn't give a sh*t, he subbed his two most dangerous players from what I'd seen in Arshavin and Nasri, obviously wasn't bothered, just happy with the draw.

As for United, you can't tell me they weren't scared when Ronaldo and Rooney looked to be playing full back on each side of the defence. ::)

England's most boring side clinched the title, scraped it like some many of their other games, against a side not trying to beat them. If the sides they face continue to approach these matches in this way, we'll have trouble beating thel to number 19. If, on the other hand, sides are prepared to attack them, maybe we'll see a different champion next year.

Sorry stuff, and from what people have already posted about neither fans nor players being excited, it does look more and more like the end of the road for United. Time will tell, but the cracks have shown this year, and it is the moment for the other teams in the league to break those cracks apart.
