Yeah but only a 60% share means there could be a partenrship meaning there is the possibility and could turn into a later full take over by the arab businessmen. Still we can only hope.

Why when Hicks at the moment is doing nothing and getting 50% profit?

I'm not ruling us out on this.

Hicks could sell some of his, and Gillet could also sell all of his share.

Chances are if it was us then there would have been some information leaked, as there would have been if it was any other of the top 4.

Hey , you never know, the fact that absolutelty  nothings being leaked has got me thinking. These people might do business in the right way, therefore demanding that nothing gets out and the timing is interesting with only a few weeks to go before the yanks have got to refinance. I know it sounds a bit far fetched , but to me theres something about this thats strange. Theres never this sort of secrecy as most have said somethings always leaked. I dunno.??

It won't be us, it's a bit too "hush hush" to be a club of our size. Any of the stories linking us with a potentional buyer have always named us pretty much.

I think there's a few clubs you could rule out

Arsenal - that Russian fella is buying more and more stakes in the club
Villa - Lerner's doing such a good job there that it's likely he won't want to sell.
Chelsea - I don't see Ambrovich selling and it's too quiet
Everton - Kenwright wants rid of completely doesn't he? So the 60% probably wouldn't suit him
Liverpool - too quiet and the 60% stake
Man City - can't see them selling yet
Man Utd - I don't think the Glazer's want out just yet and again it's too quiet
Portsmouth - already in the middle of a takeover aren't they?
Sunderland - just been bought by the yank
West Ham - just been bought by some bloke to stop them going into admin, unless that was just to sell instantly to the arab but I doubt it.

So that leaves - Birmingham, Blackburn, Bolton, Burnley, Fulham, Hull, Stoke, Spurs, Wigan, Wolves.

I know Levy wants to sell Spurs and they're a "biggish" club in the capital, so could be a good buy for a man with money. They've got a good crop of players with a manager who seems to get the best out them, with a big investment could finally break the top four.

Hull with their new stadium could interest future investors and again it's a massive city which always attracts players and investors.

Stoke could easily be taken over as well. With their ground, which is a boss ground, and their fan base crammed to the rafters. They just missed out on a top half finish, so with a healthy investment could make the top ten. Although I'm not sure, even with that investment, if the name Stoke City or Tony Pulis could attract big enough names.

Blackburn, have a very well respected manager, by most of Britain, in place but investors will be looking at their lack of fans and should turn away, same goes for Wigan.

Fulham is a good shout. It's in the richest part of England, west London, the other clubs in that region, Chelsea and QPR, have had massive investment in the last few years and maybe Al Faeed has finally realised now is time to sell as the Cottagers are going places and they need big money pumped into them to go that one step further.

As for the promoted teams, I don't Burnley will be bought. After the year they had last season, they would have brought a lot of attention on themselves, but I just don't see them being bought to be honest.

Wolves, have a fantastic stadium and a loyal set of fans, along with bright prospects such as Hennersay, Ebanks-Blake and Keightly. So it could be them but major investors don't seem to have found themselves in the Black Country yet.

Birmingham, they're still my tip.

So I think it's gonna be out of Hull, Spurs, Fulham or Birmingham.

The Mod scene was at it's peak during the 60s in Britain mate. It was a way of life for socialists who fought against the system, with music playing a big part of with groups such as The Who, Small Faces and The Kinks fronting it. It was also the way they dressed in the smart Italian suits of the day, Fred Perry and Ben Sherman clothes as well.

Then the first Mod Revival came in the late 70s early 80s with bands like the Jam. And it came around the same time of working class people in Britain being sh*t upon by the government, unemployment and poverty were at their highest.

Some claim that the early to mid 90s with bands like Oasis, Blur and Pulp there was another Mod Revival but I don't really go along with that. I think they were Mods but the "Mod Scene" didn't really come back into fashion at that time. It was just music there, without it really hitting the streets of society which is the way I want it again.

I want the Mod Scene on the streets again with us being prepared to fight back against the powers that be. I want that community spirit back, where people aren't just turning the other cheek. I also want a true socialist government which we haven't had under Labour in the last few years and certain won't get under the Tory's in the next few years. Poverty and unemployment is rising again, people are struggling to keep up with the cost of living here in Britain and that's what it was like in the first Mod Revival in the 70s/80s.

Would be great if it was us!! Ill keep my fingers crossed, but my moneys on someone like Spurs.. Im thinking maybe not Birmingham because of the "Top club" quote. But that could just as well be bulls*** Spurs hardly a Top club either, but bigger than Birmingham. Hopefully us anyways

a Mod can be a Moderator too so you just need to look at the context it's used in.
