Well if Riera is injured yes I would go with Babel in behind Torres rather then him on the left to be honest but I would not mind introducing Nemeth to the team he might be lightweight but he knows how to hit the back of the net.

Babel's preferred position is either as a striker or just playing off the striker supposedly so give him 45 minutes to prove it.

It might be his preferred position mate but I have yet to see him play well in it. In fact I can't remember the last time he played well in any position for us.

I wouldn't even have him in the squad for wednesday's game never mind starting up front.

A slower league would be perfect for him,I can see what Rafa saw in him but if we get a 6-8 bid for him i think he will be gone,Cant say how bad i feel today, but if i i am honest i saw that coming.I will still go to bed  with a Liverpool top on and try to sleep soundly.YNWA.

I'd drop Gerrard back into the middle, put Yossi on the left and put Babel in the hole behind Nando against Stoke.

If it's epic fail by half time then switch it about.

Did someone say put Babel in the hole?

You were doing so well until you said put Babel in the hole. Never in a million years could he play there. He may have strength and pace but he hasnt got the touch or the vision to play were Stevie plays. I have supported him and Lucas but even the most forgiving and patient among us must soon say enough is enough.

Lets give Babel more time, his potential deserves it, you cant sell a player after one bad game.....otherwise torres would be gone tomorrow aswell

He's had plenty of bad games. Not just one.

I also remember almost an entire season last year where Babel was shown up as a very poor player Robby. It's not one bad game, it's over a season of bad games now and we can't keep persisting on him "coming good because he has potential." I personally don't see this potential but if he hasn't reached it at 22, he's not going to reach it.

We need to flog him, quick as and I wouldn't give a monkey's toss who we sold him to. Just as long as he's away from Anfield.

He was good in pre-season but that was against sh*t teams. Against decent teams last year he was absymal and it's started in the same vain this season. I'm willing to give him until Christmas to prove himself, but then again if a decent offer came in tomorrow I wouldn't be at all disappointed if he was gone.

But he was rewarded for his troubles in pre season yet he did not repay Rafa instead he put in one of the worst performances of his careers.

I also think he is a striker, played out of position....erm dont we have need for striking cover for torres who scarily was holding his leg the other day.

He was signed as a striker and plays as a winger. He is a decent winger but hasn't been fully tried as a striker!

Bullshit, he played as a winger before he came to Liverpool too, all of his professional career thus far actually.  Also, a good striker, especially one with his speed, should be able to perform well as a winger too.

I know Ajax would want him on loan.

in my opinion he only looked good because he came on as a sub late in the game, when defenders are getting tired and he's still fresh and fast.

Easy fella. If you disagree with him all you had to put was 'I disagree'.

I'm sorry, didn't really mean any harm there. I'll try to keep it a bit more civilised. Bullshit isn't that bad of a word here in Holland, to my defense ;D

Has there been any bids of any sort for him this summer or was this bumped up the other simply because of his dire performance against Spurs?

I'd happily be selling Babel for 8 million or above, and could be persuaded to go for 6. Lad's just not good enough, need to cut our loses and get rid.
