It's a good place to start, but I wonder how many managers that are working in functioning structures would be wary of going to United as things are?

Being the biggest club, or one of the biggest clubs in the world will always attract the best, or at least it should do.  As a fan I can't really complain, it's been a rough couple of years as I've experienced more good years than bad.

We want Ole is all very well but worse than a managerial change affecting the team is the effect it seems to have on a wider scale, the owners are less disposed to making huge bids for the likes of Neymar, just as important the elite would think seriously about joining a club in freefall. While the choice of successful managerial replacement is so thin on the ground and their dependence on Ferguson and Edwards approval of said manager prevails, things can only get worse.

I simply can't agree with that mate. Pep or Klopp with the money available at United would turn it round quicker than four transfer windows. Never going to happen (( unless I'm asleep  ))

Took Pep 2 windows at Citeh, when he took over a very good side, took Jürgen 4-5 windows when he took over a team fairly similar to Utd in terms of disjointed team.

I was of the same mindset twenty odd years ago, you've had six years of zilch and memories of being "the best club in the world" do not attract the best players in the world, while your crew are dependant on the same people to get you out the sh*t Keith nothing will improve.

Loan.  Inter wont pay more than £150k a week so that still leaves the Scum throwing away a £ million a month for a player out on loan.
