      Yes very good performance, Man Utd so reminds me of us about 6-7 years ago, capable of brilliant performances but totally inconsistent.

      Spot on, probably normal service Sunday but saying that we do appear to play well against the better teams as a rule.

      Manchester United have taken just seven points from their six Premier League games this season, their lowest tally at this stage since "The Chosen One"' short stint at the helm in 2013-14 (7), a campaign in which they went on to finish 7th.

      Paul pogba has given away more penalties (2) than he's made key passes (1) this season.

      😁

      From their 4 home games, they have 1 point and a - 8 goal difference. 17 teams have a better record than that.

      Needless to say, we have 4 home wins from 4 games, with a goal difference of +5, are the only side with a 100% home record, and therefore have the best home record in the league.

      i can't work out what's funnier, getting falcao a few years ago or getting cavani now? they both smack of "oh this guy is famous, he MUST improve us!" same as the di maria, schweinsteiger transfers. i'm sure cavani will never score for them. they are a parody of a football club. it's glorious.

      I genuinely think you’ve got a team of players who romanticise the Champions League and European nights and have no interest or desire  in the domestic games, two different teams in each competition, you can see the laziness in the league games and you see their effort go up 10 fold in the CL... worrying for a ‘big’ team, only so far you can get in the CL before you’re knocked out and then there’s nothing to play for at all.

      No I don't think so, it's  just our form has no consistency. For me that's down to the manager

      hmm, I'm not so sure, From what I've seen there is way more effort put into the CL games, or are you seriously saying that all the domestic teams so far have been better than PSG and Leipzig?

      With Utd chasing the game, Ole subbed:
      Fernandes -> Van de Beek
      Greenwood -> Cavani

      Pogba is a big girls blouse and Fred/Matic/McTominay might not be good enough.

      But good few Utd fans not happy with Oles game management.

      On Redcafe they've got this topic asking what would Fergie achieve with the current United team. One fantasist wrote:

      So, where would we finish with in the hypothetical scenario that Fergie managed this team and our rivals had the same team as they currently do bar the players in our team, like Thiago? Top obviously, for probably the 3rd season in a row. Would have won the CL the year Liverpool won it too. He’d have knocked PSG, Barca and then Pool out, before teaching Spurs how to win a trophy in the final.

      Fergie's record points total was 91. He won 2 CL's in 26 years. Twenty six years. They're in desperation mode aren't they?

      ;D, surely that poster was not serious, is he genuinely saying Utd with their team/squad would have easily beaten City and ourselves over the least few years???

      Combination of both Kopite but since I'm of the opinion players now think Ole isn't the right man to take them forward their heads have dropped. It's no excuse the money the fuckers are on but that's how I see it.

      Obviously it may look like that on paper based on our two results in CL. Wednesday game will be interesting against Basakse who we all know on paper are a much weaker side. Let's see how this pans out? I'm pretty sure our performance won't be as good as the last two CL games.

      No of course I'm not saying domestic teams have been better than PSG & Leipzig. That's just you doing the usual words in other people's mouths.  ;D

      Chances are it's all just a smoke screen and looks more convincing than it actually is. Let's come back to this after the match then continue the debate.
