These lot mean business this year. Feels like the old times watching them sign the best 😤. Let's hope Ole fucks it up and it all comes crashing down

Behind every good team lies a very good manager.... So what are we missing?,

We just can't compete with them off the pitch really. 20m a year wages for Varane and probably something similar to Sancho as well.

As you said just have to hope their manager can't them all going and that we buy smartly in the next few weeks.

Yet to be convinced with him as basically always walked into a star studded team. Is he a improvement on Ole? I simply don't know. Many would say yes though.

That's the beauty of a big fan base being able to afford it as you'll know. However, I'd still take a Oil Barron  rather than our present owners.

We’ve got a global fan base and a commercial set up to rival most, we also have American owners but ours refuse to feed their asset.

Like your club LFC is self sustaining but unlike your club the owners refuse to occasionally help the team and the manager with a financial boost, any monies invested in the asset are of course repaid with interest.

Any failure to invest displays a lack of trust or a faulted business acumen if not both.

You would be the first to complain if our owners took dividends out the club as the mancs owners do.

Making out the Glazers to be decent owners, heard it all now.

All they're missing now is a holding midfielder and they'll have a first team that's on par with ours (arguably even stronger). Thank god they kept Ole in charge or I might be worried.

Yeah but you can't rival us fan base wise Stuey. Hence why we can spend more on transfers as a rule. Your owners no different from ours though, #wankers

Genuine question: is your fanbase still much larger than ours? I know you used to crush us on the US market, but we've made great strides over there in recent years (and collaborating with the likes of LeBron James will help in the future).
Salah (and to a lesser extent Mané) also massively improved our visibility in the Middle-East/African market.

Well according to  google  Liverpool have just short of 80 million world wide. It shows United at 142 million.  Not saying it's right but just what I read.

Barcelona & Real Madrid just over 250 million.  :o

Ps.. Just read on another site Liverpool have 92.7 million

The only thing I’ve got to say about the Glazers is they put money into the club when the situation demands, that is fact not praise.

Man Utd are over £600mil in debt and have taken out further credit lines this year - the players are being bought by loan money

Problem is those figures are usually based on social media followers. Overseas, Utd and Liverpool have a lot more "older" fans than Chelsea or City and those fans are probably not very active of Twitter and the likes, so numbers may be skewed...
I also saw that Liverpool home shirt was the best-selling football shirt on Amazon last year, so I guess we've got that going for us.  :D

As you know what social media say we basically take as sh*te most of the time anyway. I know we have a bigger following but would never quote figures from a personal basis.

Man Utd are over £600mil in debt and have taken out further credit lines this year - the players are being bought by loan money

For the unenlightened it is referred to as a manageable debt, LFC have the financial stability to comfortably take on such an arrangement.
The manc debt before the pandemic was considerably lower than £600m having decreased from close to £1bn some time ago.

Wow - so you would be happy for the club to delve into bank debt just to buy players 🤷‍♂️

You really do need to change your username to FSG Share/Owner. Your post would make more  sense coz you clearly don't look at it from a fan base point of view.

Let me guess - you are happy to ignore it all because they have used it to buy players. All those protests etc all gone and forgotten because the owners have bought a couple of players for you ( whilst still taking money out of the club)

Once again all those morals out of the window when a player is bought - Glazers know how to keep the fans quiet

From a fans perspective Im more than happy that my club isn’t over £500mil in debt to banks and have owners that take out dividends each year whilst the club wins f**k all

Just to highlight the point it also shows the hypocrisy flying around football these days

It wasn’t that long ago fans were up in arms about owners making business decisions to create a super league to get more finances into the club - fingers were pointed at them for their moral disgrace and stealing the ethics of the clubs etc etc etc

Three months down the line you have fans now demanding money money money is spent , if the money isn’t there well go and borrow it , don’t worry about the debt or any morals all we care about is spending £100mil on this player and that player - forget the clubs have huge levels of losses due to Covid just go out and spend more

No wonder people look at the money in the football well mainly the Premier League and think what a disgusting disgrace it is and yet we have owners that appear to want to be financially sounds and they get lambasted for it
