How doesn't he? He's done awful this last two seasons. Their players aren't that bad that they should be in the renegotiation zone. They are making United look like Barcelona now.

So he’s done terrible the last two seasons, but finished 10th last year...which is exactly where you said they should be in your very next post.

Absolute rubbish you spew beggars belief.

10th isn't bad. I thought they finished lower. The quality they have 10-12 is okay. I'm not sure Rafa will still be there if they're still in the relegation zone at Christmas though.

That Newcastle team should be 10-12th, not 18th.

      My arse they should.

They signed no one in the summer Muto was their marquee signing. It's incredible Rafa didn't walk after zero financial backing and they aren't rock bottom now.

If the score stays the same, that's 3 points from 8 games. Fulham and Palace don't have better players than Newcastle, but they are above them in the table.

Don't be ridiculous you are talking complete nonsense Palace and Fulham are both better sides with stronger squads.

      Sanchez scores.

Matchday 8.   500,000 per week wages.

      That goal cost Utd £4,000,000.

      Accounting nightmare.

No they're not. As for Rafa, looking at the Newcastle forum and a lot of fans are fed up of the results and want him gone. Some seem to think he is not using the squad to their potential. I'm not a Newcastle expert, but I'll take their word for it over yours (who thinks Palace and Fulham have better quality than Newcastle). Have you even looked at their recent line ups before sprouting trash?

To be honest, it was a winning goal he scored yesterday. Ferguson was in a similar position at United at one time, he got a bit lucky like Jose yesterday and eventually things started to click, he went on to become one of the most successful managers in world football ever. Those who don't want Jose sacked should remember that.

      About when Ferguson was in a similar position to Jose now;

Sorry Riba but that is bollocks, the Newcastle team are really sh*t and its only Rafa keeping their heads above the water, but your average English manager in there and they'd be down like a stone.

I wonder what Maureen said at half time, I half expect that he said that he was off soon and that they needed to impress their new manager ;-)

And when we top the league again, you'll start telling us in the thread, that we're not a big club and we've won nothing yet.

We're here to laugh at the mancs, not hope they win stuff. So Chelsea can win that game, then drop points somewhere else down the line.

Not that Chelsea are title contenders anyway.

      Quote from Keith Singleton
It's just intensifies when it's the biggest club in the world. However, won't take us 28 years and counting to win the league again.

You keep saying it and you might even believe it sometime. We also said all that about LFC 25 years ago.

Oh I disagree, on current form Chelsea are very much title contenders, but I am not sure they can sustain it all season, they are very reliant on Hazard who is outstanding at the moment and probably the best footballer on the planet at this time.

He’s in good form but he’s not showing best around form. If anyone is showing that form it’s Mbappe, the kid is unreal, he bagged 4 goals in 13mins against Lyon and got an assist. Something like 10 goals and 7 assists already. Fair enough it’s a weaker league but he’s doing it in Europe and Lyon are no pushovers.

Hazards form will drop off, it always does.

The French league is a complete joke, it would be the equivalent of us playing against Championship teams every weak, I'm fairly sure in that case Mo would break his record from last season by some margin.
Hazard for me is simply astonishing at the moment, playing in the toughest league in the world.
