PSG are the only strong team in the French league, do not be fooled by Lyon beating Citeh, that was a freak game. In the Bundesliga Bayern are miles ahead of their nearest rivals, hence why they win it every sodding year. In the Premiership its very rare for one team to win year after year because its much more competitive. What the hell is so hard to understand about that???
If you genuinely think the French or German league is as competitive as the Prem then there is no point continuing this discussion as you are either an idiot or a wum.
I must have been hallucinating or something when I see the mancs name as EPL winners 2 and 3 years running, until the oap took his seat in the Directors Box. Chelsea and City have dominated the title race in the years since.
I said aside from PSG, the French league is a highly competitive league. Marseille got to the UEFA final last year. Lyon are up there. But look where Monaco are.
I don’t get it either mate, there appears to be a large percentage of English people with the same thought process. Our league is the best and everything else is sh*t. I would certainly say one could argue that it is the most competitive top to bottom and, personally, I would prefer to watch a PL game than most other leagues but that’s only because I support LFC. To dismiss other leagues because they do not have the same financial backing as the premier league is just jumping on the bandwagon. For me, Spain has more quality and leagues in France/Germany are producing more talent.
The best league is in Spain. Spanish clubs have won 9 of the last 10 European club trophies. But last year one poster repeatedly insisted to me that Seville were crap, even though they won the UEFA Cup several times, played us in the group phase last year, beat the mancs and got to the quarter finals, where Chelsea and Spurs didn't.
Where are Seville now? Top of La Liga of course.
