If ever a goalkeeper wins you a football match.

Poor finishing but De Gea has been brilliant.

EDIT: Yeah, very poor finishing. This should have been about 3-1 to Spurs. No exaggeration.

Quite unbelievable performance Miro. Still can't get my head round the change since Ole came. Not sure if I'm starting to believe now.  :lmao:

This was the statement United needed against a top 4 side. Many included myself stated we've won nobody of any substance since Ole came despite winning them well. Have to say little excited now as this will have the town buzzing.,

Frighten to think what Media are going to say after this.  ;D

De Gea can't do that every game. Ole is a great manager. Bring back Jose.

When they were winning, the media were all over them. When they were losing and looking shot, the media were all over them.

They have just won five in a row.

On performance yes. However, Ole so unknown as a manager I'm keeping away from those rose tinted glasses.  ;D

Just the honeymoon period, they will start dropping points again soon. They should have lost to Spurs, were battered for large parts of it. But who are we to complain, we’d take 3 points in the same circumstance if offered. Hoping they don’t grab 5th.

By the time they face City they’ll have played PSG twice, us in between those ties and Arsenal away... Spurs should have done a job today but it only suits us that they haven’t.

Great thing about this result if a unproven manager can get off to a start like this what can Poch do? This result is more incentive for him to come in Summer.

Every single Spurs shot down the middle straight to De Gea.

Payback for when every shot of theirs was a goal in December.

Lets not deny it, United will be a danger when we go there.

      That performance was very good.

Pace up front and breaking was very effective.

Were you as impressed by their defence and the fact that if it wasn't for Spurs shooting straight at de Gea and him making some good saves then they would have conceded 4-5 goals?
Attacking wise Manure are pretty good, but defensively they are still a basket case, I would still expect us to beat them at Old Trafford, unless they can buy some very good defenders in this window.

That's not necessary the case, top goal keepers have a uncanny nack of being in the right place at the right time.  One of his saves he was flat footed and still got his hands to it. If Lloris had been in the right place chances are we would never of scored that goal.

The times you hear if it wasn't for the goalkeeper na na na we would of scored 5. What fans seem to forget, not only is that his job but it's just like any other player having a good game.

Example!  If it wasn't for Salah scoring a hatrick it would of been 0-0   :lmao:

Give the lad credit, that's why many class him as the best goalkeeper in the world.

I have given him plenty of credit when it’s merited, but yesterday there was nothing that a lower league goalie would not have saved. Saw the heat maps of the shots he faced and they were virtually all down the middle.

What is uncanny of standing in the middle of the goal?  :D

Spurs in that second half absolutely battered Utd and it was simply poor finishing.

But I don’t mind as the Ole love in continues to build.

I agree, De Gea is absolutely top class, no question about that, and of course he has to position himself well but most keepers would have saved those shots yesterday, it was more down to poor finishing from Spurs than great goalkeeping from De Gea. Anyway who cares Spurs dropped 3 points to us and are now 9 points behind and Manure are closer to giving Solskjaer the job permanently :-)

Is it me or is the Rashford goal and Pogba pass being blown well out of proportion? It was hardly the pass of the season and IMO Lloris should be saving the shot. I don’t think I’m being biased, but maybe I am? I just don’t think it was such a good goal that’s being raved about the way it is.

No, I'm the same.  Decent ball but not that difficult to spot or play; decent finish but felt the keeper maybe could've done better.

Thought it was a good goal mate but, as ever, probably not worth the fanfare that it has brought about.
