That Greenwood at it again. Heimdall not a bad judge.  ;D

Man Utd produce striking talent whilst we focus on defenders.

It’s not being pedantic, it’s being factual.

Who have United had come through in attack other than Rashford and possibly Greenwood? Even their much loved class of 98 or whatever, there was no forward in amongst them.

We also nurtured & brought through the best (English) attacking talent of the last decade in Raheem Sterling

hmmmm, I'd argue he was a fairly crap finisher when he left us, Pep has worked wonders on him at City and Pep deserves the credit for transforming him into a top striker, in any case he slipped through our fingers.

Definitely came on leaps & bounds since working with Pep. Was still incredible with us during that 2013-14 season though, easy to forget he was only 18

Yep, and he also hasn’t spent a year out with a knee injury.

5 of Greenwood’s 8 goals have come against teams that are looking as though they will be relegated so in my mind, that’s not exactly much better than the level of teams Brewster is scoring against.

Greenwood is looking a bright prospect but he’s struggled against the teams around mid table upwards, so he has a long way to go yet.

Until (if) we see Brewster in the Premier League over the next year or so, it’s difficult to make any comparisons between them really. Brewster has had big hopes around him for years now, I don’t think anyone had even heard of Greenwood until this season.
      .

To pick up on the Mancs great fodder run in, not only is Greenwood and the team benefiting from inferior opposition their cranky supporters have created a record breaker badge for the none achievers - the Mancs have scored 3 goals in each of the last 4 games, albeit against relegation cannon fodder.
The 'glory days are back' and 'they're coming for us' are the FB ramblings from the cranks! Scared shitless I don't think.

It’s a shame BR didn’t leave a few months earlier, we’d probably still have Sterling now otherwise.

Yep. Sterling was brilliant for us and showed bags of potential and we somehow let him get away. Notwithstanding his arse of an agent looking for a big fee.

Ha, well done lad, you've hit the Google search there. What I said was - CAME THROUGH in the last 10 years

You've gave me two fellas who are way into their 30s and Harry Kane (a great player, but not better than Sterling)

      Back in your court

Sorry but I disagree, Harry Kane has been incredibly consistent for a long time now, as good as Sterling is, and he has become very very good, I still think Kane is the better all round striker in the same way I rate Ronaldo more than Messi. Put him in that City team and he'd win Golden boot every season.

First time I've witnessed a Liverpool supporter get offended by the word "lad" but there you go :lmao:

You're comparing apples and oranges if you're just looking at goals, Sterling is a wide attacker whereas Harry Kane is a centre forward so Kane is always going to beat him on goals. I think Sterling has bagged near enough 20 assists a season during the last few campaigns. Don't know Kane's assist stats but I'm sure they'll be nowhere near Sterling.

I think Sterling is a better player, he can effect the game more & sees much more of the ball. Kane is a brilliant centre forward, probably second to only Lewandowski but I think if the two were sold tomorrow Sterling would cost more, and rightly so.
