Fernandes is looking less and less impressive IMO. His performances have been quite average for the large part and he loses possession a ridiculous amount of times, yet it seems to go unnoticed because he’s packing his stats out with penalties. He’s not been bad but take away the penalties and he isn’t getting hyped up anywhere near as much, only 3 of his goals haven’t been from the spot and I think only 2 from open play.

Watched some of the game last night and he was shocking.

Considering we won the league 2 games after the resumption with 7 games to spare and ended up with 99 points, I think I can just about live with our terrible form ;-)

Sanchez allowed to play against them? I know he’s an official Inter player now but at the time of squad registration for the competition, he was technically a United player.

How does this work with regard to rest etc. Do all participants of the Europa and CL since lockdown have 30 days rest? Is that compulsory? It sounds to me a curse as much as a relief since all competetions have to finish at the same time next season meaning even further game congestion for these teams.

In retrospect atletico might have done us a favour in terms of our title winning prospects for 20/21.
