Funny thing watching this semi final is that the rivalry importance is really obvious. I dislike city, as a club and everything they stand for, but united are pure rivals.
I’d prefer city to win this.

Well if last nites game didn't prove my point to those doubters than think I'm playing mind game-reverse psychology- hidden agenda etc etc nothing will.  ;)

United clearly outclassed and simply no excuse to not only the better side but now playing championship form. I've been saying for months the title is between City & Liverpool and that feeling still hasn't changed even though the latter hitting a bad period which once again!! In my opinion mostly down to half a team. (( is that record of mine stuck in with the doubter yet.  ;D ))

Bailly went off injured with head injury, any idea if he'll be fit for the game next Sunday?

Wishing him all the best of course and hope there's nothing serious there.

You must have some damned good physios at Man Utd or damned good luck, still no major injuries isn't it?

Currently on the list of first team players are Pogba - lindelof - Shaw. Heard today that Bailly has to have a scan.

Not sure we are accepting it by not buying a defender.

Seems to me like we are taking it on the chin and moving on to next season

What injury were they listed with out of interest? On another note looks like Matic and Martial might be out for a bit.

Need to put them back in their box and stop them building up momentum, would hate to lose our title to them.

Utd are playing some good football. Not as good, I think, as City - but better than us!

I think they'll do well this year but I can't see them winning the title with their defence. Also, if they get an injury to Fernandes, that could hurt them.

Regardless, we can't be looking at other teams, we need to look at ourselves and figure out what's happened.

Incidentally, my youngest reckons we played well against the Villa youngsters in the second half because Klopp changed to a 4-2-3-1 formation (though, they were young and did run out of steam). Does anyone know if the change to 4-2-3-1 was what made things click for us?

      Alisson

      (L) Robertson
      Matip
      Fab
      (R) Trent

      Thiago
      Gini/Henderson

      (L) Mane
      Firmino
      (R) Jota/Salah

      Jota/Salah

Utd look good beating the sh*te in the league, how have they looked in the majority of big games?

Southampton away - won, West ham away - won, Leicester away - drew, City at home - drew, Chelsea at home - drew , Everton away - won ... wolves and villa in the top 7 or 8 both won.

Spurs with 10 men was a hammering and arsenal at home as well was a defeat. They have done pretty well against the top teams bar those 2 early games.

They will be a threat today. Im expecting our boys to come out focused and determined to not lose their home record, and show everyone why we are league and world champions.

There's no better time to play us and instead of coming to Anfield looking to make a statement, they came to waste time, slow tempo and hope for the sucker punch like a low level team.

Ole shows how limited he is as a manager and i doubt they'll be top 4 at season's end.

I tend to agree apart from top 4. So many teams playing badly there's around 7/8 teams that can get top 4 the way results presently going.
