Old Speckled Hen goes down a treat

Yeah, I blame it for the hangover last week! :D Was drinking them throughout the Europa match. Deeeee-licious.

Like Old Speckled Hen, but can't drink it cold.  Always have to let it warm up for at least 1/2 hour after taking them out the fridge.

So why put it in the fridge in the first place?

Too right, some beers need to be thoroughly chilled, some can be served at room temp & some in between.  Could never bring myself to drink a warm lager though, but beers & ales seem to need a variety of temperatures & nowadays I don't drink in the quantity I used to, I like it to be as flavourful as it can be.

Don't drink beer that often, as it does not agree with me, but I don't mind a pint of Theakstons. I think that's how you spell it?

Had a gorgeous beer today, made by a brewery called Wadworth & called Old Timer.  5.7% but beautiful flavours.
