I wouldnt say Downing stood out but Wheater did.

If you are going to look at that way then do be mindful of the position they play. Wheater was always going to be more involved and under the pump in a sh*t side like Boro, whereas a striker you will not have many opportunities if your team is constantly on the back foot.

TBH, Boro wouldn't have stayed up if we loaned them Torres for that season.
Don't judge a book player by its his cover team.

I'd rather go for Eidur Gudjohnsen than Tuncay as a back up striker, he's avilable from Barca for 5 million and IMO a better footballer than Tuncay

Tuncay is the only player from Boro who could lift to a top English club. Downing will always be a decent player and Wheater just has that spell of absolute stupidity no top side would want.

Tuncay has skill to back up his determination and while he's been at Boro he's shown that skill that the surroundings allow him to show. A move up for him is in order and he will be a top, top player. Unfortunately we have Benny but our bench does need more creativity to lift us when we're in a rut.

6m on him will not be money wasted IMO.

Chalenge for a CL and PL this yr,Tuncay could chip in.

Show some respect and spell the bloody name right.

Rafa has 4-2-3-1 formation in mind with Torres acting as a lone striker with StevieG supporting him.
If StevieG takes up an injury maybe Tuncay can fit the bill with attacking left and right flank!
But not for a penny above 5milli.
Villa will be a good addition but Valencia is getting jeleous since MADrid is interested

I can't make sense of that. Gerrard plays in a central role if i am correct which i am 100% sure i am, if Gerrard gets injured then how will putting Tuncay on the left or right wing replace him? If Gerrard was injured then Tuncay would no doubt go upfront with Torres or play just behind Torres?

Tuncay can easily play : AMF - AML - AMR
      maybe double forward with Torres
      but,
      instead of Gerrard   - NO

Exactly he is not an upgrade in any way shape or form of what we allready have so for that reason I would not want him here.

I think its to build our squad, not replace anyone. We lack creativity off the bench. He could provide it. Albeit i doubt it 100% he'll come here.

I respect all our players,I`m a life long fan.
I replied with "FFS!"  because you have a problem with the fact that I called Benayoun "BennyOnions".
Do you have any sense of humour at all in real life?
If you want to control this site with such an Iron fist then I`ll cut to the chase and stop posting here which seems to be what you want.
If you continue to hound newbies for such pedantic reasons you`ll continue to mod one of the smaller LFC websites.
No need for Crouchinho to tag team with you here either.
If you don`t mind I`d like to continue to monitor the transfer section.
I`ll probably be minus 4 now as most of my negs seem to come from the Mods here.

I'm not here to argue with you. All I'm asking is that you show some respect towards our players by calling them by their proper names.

Secondly, I wouldn't say this was one of the smaller websites - more one of the larger ones, and I wouldn't want to mod any other site thanks very much.

Now let's keep this thread about Tuncay on topic please.

That's why mine is -9 pal. Because i didn't agree with the 'big boys' haha.

I think Tuncay will be a good addition but definitely not as a first teamer. A 2nd half sub or something but he shouldn't be starting.

There`s also a chance that stepping up to a top 4 team could improve his game and he`d start pushing for a 1st team place.
