I’d be interested to know what you thought the result should have been.

UFC fan above boxing but Francis won that in my opinion!

Clearly a staged boxing show in which Fury didn’t even bother training as he was the size of a hippo!

Hence my original comment the heavy weight division is a clown show unless you think that fight was anything other than a serious pay off for both fighters?

Rihad have just shelled out many many millions for the rights to host 2 Fury v Usyk bouts.

Of course 'his excellency' 🦃 Alalshikh was not going to allow that fight to be compromised by a Fury L to a total novice.

So contracts have been signed for 2 fights with Usyk (both fighters have rematch clauses if they lose - basically making the first fight redundant!!) but you can pretty much tell that Tyson ain't feeling it.

Those fights are huge pay days for him but I believe if he was left to his own devices without Warren in his ear he'd consider hanging up the gloves

The fact a heavyweight champion of the world even took that fight against an MMA fighter is disgraceful.

The fact he then got comfortably outboxed and still came out with a decision sums the sport up.

Hopefully Usyk does the business but I’m sure there will be some farce to that too.

Oh dear, another sad day for boxing. I thought it was close but he certainly didn’t win.

Surprisingly more of a boxing match than the last time an MMA fighter fancied themselves as a boxer.

To be fair to Ngannou it looked like he took it serious even if toward the end of the last round he was trying one of those launching superman punches they do in MMA, suppose it makes up for the snide forearm dig Fury gave Ngannou.

Can tell Fury just couldn't be arsed and was there for the money

Usyk v Fury is the main fight in that division but I hate to see it staged in Saudi.

Totally agree, that was just the money. He might take the Usyk more seriously though given his belt on the line. Thing is he’s already proven to be one of the best now and literally just doesn’t give a fcuk anymore.

Years ago I never liked him but grew on me big time, now I can listen to his interviews all day. 😂

National anthems from both America and England being sung ahead of the Jonas/Mayer fight,

Not going down too well in our city.

Hopefully one of the boxers knocks the singer out as well to shut her up. Nothing to do with the song choices but because of her F***ing horrible voice.

I thought that was a dig at the Gaza/Israel stuff going on, hence why both anthems booed

Unlike AJ when he gets near a mic

Jesus, cracking knockdown punch then comes out with some of the most cringey, embarrassing sh*t.

He needs Fury to beat Usyk otherwise Usyk will batter him again.

I’ve come to dislike AJ so much, not heard his latest speech after the fight just read about it. Does anyone have a link so I can watch it?

Usyk and AJ won’t fight again regardless of what happens in the unification fight.

The belts will break apart straight away due to mandatories. I expect Usyk and Fury will rematch for a couple of the belts whilst AJ will pick up one of the other belts in a different fight. Then we might get Fury v AJ but I’m not holding my breath.

Anyone see Nick Ball get robbed against Rey Vargas on the AJ Ngannou undercard?

Probably the most exciting boxer currently fighting out of Liverpool.
