Aussie defence was incredible. Can't believe Wales didn't take the points and then 10 minutes vs 13 men from open play

Wales again showed they lack the extra 10% upstairs when playing against the best teams.

Not scoring against 13 men and in fact conceding 3 pts they didn't deserve to win.

They were too headstrong and refused to recognise that Austrailia are not a normal opponent. George North was at fault in particular for this.

Come on Ireland. France have a real weapon with Spedding, have to be very disciplined.

The Aussie just dug in and to a man where awesome in defence I dont think Wales lost it I think the Aussies won it.
Ireland are just right in the faces of the French  its again brilliant stuff. Fantastic games but not too many tries who cares if its like this,

Amazing performance in the second half from Ireland. So much belief and determination. Sean O'Brian and Rory Best on another level today.

Performance of the WC so far from Ireland.

Even eclipsing Japan's win over the springbok.

Well done Ireland completely outplaying the French who were so predictable in attack.
So going by previous world cups they will turn it on next week against New Zealand!

Well played Ireland , even with the injuries, much the better team, one of the worst and most negative French teams i have seen.

Big weekend for the Rugby hopefuls.

I reckon it might end up being a Southern Hemisphere clean sweep.

Sean O'brien will be a huge loss for the Irish one of the players of the tournament.

I'm hoping for wins for Wales, New Zealand and Ireland. Not sure who I'd prefer in the last QF (Australia or Scotland), though I expect Australia to win.

Wales need to be more clinical. South Africa will take their points when they're there. Already seeing Wales trying to run through S.A. forwards, they won't get far trying that.

The reliance of rugby union (and particularly World Cup rugby union) on penalties to score is quite boring. South Africa has already kicked 4 in less than 20 minutes, while Wales had one.
