After watching Wales beat Argentina 33 - 16 yesterday, good win but to many mistakes, never mind, bring on Australia next weekend.

At least Shane was back on form! Nice to see him back on the scoresheet.

I did - France look good, if England can beat Italy we are then home to Ireland so could be in with a shout of the title if we can get those wins.

Not a big Rugby fan because the class it is most associated with. However, always like to see Ireland do well, for abvious reasons. Although we were poor against Italy, it was good to get the 6nations of to a good start. However, we will need to up our game for the match against France at the weekend or we will be thrashed.

Very true Andy, they are like Liverpool at the moment, only play well when they go behind.

Can't believe I've never noticed this thread, I'm a big rugby league fan (league is so much better than union ;))

My team is the Widnes Vikings and I go every match, including the majority of away matches.

      Any other rugby league fans?

I do like St Helen's as they have a few former Aussies (Tony Puletua playing for Penrith and being boss when we won the Premiership! ;D) and they're close to Liverpool.

Matt Gidley and Eastmond i'm fans of, too.

However, i'm a Penrith Panthers man all the way. In my blood since birth. My local team and i go to every game except ones like against Auckland, Gold Coast, Brisbane, North Queensland etc. except the rare one off road trip.

 Being from SA its not like Rugby is big at all, people in south australia don't give a sh*t about it, so i dont know a lot of the exact rivalries. But, grew to love NRL after some late night sessions when the games were shown at midnight on channel 9, with good 'ol Rabsy Warren commentating :D

My main rivalry is with my Cowboys loving best mate (the same one who is a manc  )

When im in Sydney in the Aussie winter im hoping to maybe get to a Tigers game.

Well done to Ireland today, played a tough clinical game and won, 27 - 12, so gutted but well done the green machine.

Super 14 season well under way, being in Wellington deffo a Hurricanes fan, (bit of a mugs game tho) one thing I have to say, regardless of the sport, is that all I ever ask is a fair go from the ref, be it Football, league, union whatever, just do the job right. I dunno if it's me, (can't be :-\) but all my teams suffer badly through incompetence by the officials. We all know about Webb (the tart) but there's a rugby ref just like him, Steve Walsh, Hurricanes playing the Bulls in South Africa, Bulls unbeaten so far, thrashin everyone, 'canes on a bit of a losin streak, and whaddaya know, Walsh can't have the canes winning, so he makes sure we don't. 19-18, even managed to send off a canes player.

      What a gyp.
