I think it should be noted on here that today is the 65th anniversary of D-Day.
This day 65 years ago our Grandfathers,Uncles and Fathers all came together for a cause much higher than football or any other cause.
Thousands of 18-22 year old kids stormed the beaches of France, under non stop artillery and rifle fire, secured the beaches and started
the drive through Europe to free a continent from oppression,genocide and slavery. On that day 10,000 American,British and Canadian soldiers died.
If you know a WW2 veteran take 30 seconds out of your day and say "Thank-you". They've earned it.
