I was thinking of starting this topic myself. Assassins Creed was brilliant I'm hoping that the sequel is as good.
Although most sequels aren't as good as the first. I'll still be getting it as soon as it is released

I can't get the videos to work? Its paused and I can't unpause it

      Looks good.

Best thing about it is there's a large variety for more games, in different settings, etc.

Hopefully they'll have got shut of the repetetiveness that plagued the first Assassin's Creed.

Swimming should add to the game, makes assassinations more varied, less repetative.

Assassin's Creed was a great game. Can't wait for this, Uncharted 2, Modern Warfare 2, Fifa10, The Saboteur, Heavy Rain, God of War and Gran Turismo. This year is a great year in gaming.

You heard it here first, Assassins Creed 3 will be set in Modern Japan.

Also, in AC 2 you don't have to interrogate the targets. Makes for less repitition.

Hmm I payed $120 for Assasins Creed I really enjoyed it for the 20% of the game I got through then it got hard for me I think I got up to the Constantinople stage. Then it became too confusing and the last think you want to be doing after an 9-10 hour work day is have to think too hard, so i gave up.

You serious? The only bad thing about Assassins Creed IMO was that it was too easy.

So not long until its out, im getting quite excited about this, apparently they;ve solve the linearity of the first one and its repetiveness has been ruled out completely, suggesting it could be GTA like in its movement and structure, completed the first game recently and really enjoyec it plus starting to understand the story a bit more so looking for answers in the second one.

I'm hoping that its not like GTA if you mean the controls, and poor graphics. If you mean that its easier to find out where your going then yeh definetly because its annoying always having to go to the start menu to locate where you are, can't wait for this, whens the release date??

No, and that's a real big disappointment for me. I think they could have definitely made online. Something like LOTR Conquest online for example.

It starts where the first one left off, except this one you actually like the guy you are in Florence, kinda reminds me of Squall from FF8. Its really immersive, you can buy armour, weapons, increase your estate and revenue, plus the free running is even more free flowing. It takes about half hour for the proper action to start, but there is so much to do, no more repetitiveness, needing to do this and that first, its pretty much do what you want. You can loot dead bodies to buy stuff so the freedom is there. Oh and this one has a proper story too.

Only a rental game if you're gonna play 10 hours day, the game is huge much like GTA theres lots to see and do.

Agree about the first one, once the novelty wore off it was poor.

This is nowhere near as bad as the first game. The storyline has loveable characters, massive immersive cities, no annoying same one liners from people, better fighting. Its not just about getting information then killing someone and moving on. There are loads of sidequests, including unlocking different stories, treasure, armour, weapons, even investing money to make more money. The missions are massively varied and like I said, its up to you whether you follow the main quest or move on. I'd liken it to Fable 2 in the sense of open-worldness.

I just bought the game today. Haven't had much time on it, though from the half an hour or so that i've played it's impressed me. The only thing that's annoyed me so far is the length of cutscenes.

Yeah, but there are a selected range of games you can trade. I was going to do that with the PS3, but none of the games i wanted to trade were on that list.

Having had a bit more time on the game, I have to say it's brilliant. There's no repitition like the first one and there's a bunch of new features.

The other thing i like about it is that the character feels a lot more personal than Altair. When his family were killed, i actually felt for him.

Agreed, the story is much more immersive, kind of like a Final Fantasy game. Im busy trying to unlock all the codex's and the Assassination Contracts at the moment. Have you learnt the disarm feature yet Bahrosa?

Yeah it all gets a bit trippy haha. Im in Venice at the moment helping out the theives there. Venice is excellent love the diving into water animation.

I seriously enjoy the disarm and instant kill movement especially with the large axes. Im spotting new animations all the time. Best one was disarming the spear from a guard and jamming it in his eye!!!

Got the game a few days ago, it's brilliant! In Venice at the moment, but I'm trying to spread it out, with doing a few sidequests etc, rather than race through the main storyline. Once your on it, you stay on it for hours, and don't even realize!

On big problem for me though, are the graphics, there shocking for a PS3, especially in the cut scenes, really is lagging well behind other PS3 games in that department. Other than that, really enjoying it, much better than the first one. Although I have struggled to carry out an assasination so far, without having to get in an all out brawl with guards!

I agree with the cutscene graphics, but during gameplay i think it's slick. In my room i play it on normal digital TV, but i took it to the HD telly in the living room with the HDMI cable, and it is really boss. TBH, i'd rather have good gameplay graphics than cutscene graphics.

The core similarity is an apple. You need to select the five which feature an apple.

The core similarity is an apple. You need to select the five which feature an apple.

Thanks Bahrosa will do that now.

I'm up to the final memories now but I need to get 7 more pieces of the codex before I can unlock them. Great game though

      Finished the game.

Really good game, but an area they could of improved on is outside the Animus, there could of been a whole seperate storyline for that, but your hardly out of it. I doubt I'll play it again now, because I can't be bothered just going around looking for things to do on it. Feels like a wasted my money!!

Thats something I thought could have been in. I haven't finished yet I just got the last codex pages and Altair's armour but I've only been out of the animus once or twice maybe. Maybe the next game (as there surely will be AC3) will be based around that

It is a good game, but for me, once it's completed it will get thrown to the side and not be played again/ for a looooooong time.

The series is meant to be a trilogy. To do with this Mayan disaster thing date which ties in with the Templars plans to control everyone. The last one (3) will probably be in the present or not long ago.

Missus' latest project was with Microsoft and she got a few games and this was one of them along with a couple of others.

Going to give it a go later on I think.

Some form of market research as to whether a new product or upgrade would be viable in the current market.

She worked with Apple before and got a free iPod Touch! :D

Good game by the way, played a bit last night and it was good stuff.

Just finished this, massive improvement on the last one, found the ending rather complicated though, seems like there's another sequel on the way. They sure like dragging the story out.

Played this a bit a couple of days ago. Pretty good, just not finding the time to go on for a fair amount of time.

Same, and that wierd talk, it just bored me, ended up getting distracted and not listening to it. Worst part of the storyline IMO.

They're trying to lead it on to the next one AC3 - which will be set in the present or near future about the end of the world as predicted by the Mayans. But it maybe went a bit too long, you've got to admit its kind of cool some of the bits though.

      F**k!

I missed the Fly Swatter trophy and I have to play it over again. Putting the only mission to get it 3/4 into the game is a pain the the arse. Don't wanna spend cash just to get the DLC to get it -_-
