Dunno if you got yer figures right Keef, I’m betting you know more than some of the high street bookies, from my experience I’d rather take your advice than someone from Billy Hills or that Paddy fella, risk & reward, win some lose some that’s the name of the game, for most though they don’t have the knowledge or have insider information, and are quite literally are taking a punt, Kurt believes it’s only fools game probably cos he’s lost more than he’s won, hence it’s a fools game in his opinion!!

Do gamblers have "Beginners Luck"? The answer is yes. When someone starts to gamble IF they lose they tend to give up and don't go on to become regular gamblers. However, those fortunate enough to win right from the start DO tend to carry on and so become regular gamblers...Hence the phrase "Beginners Luck"
Another novelty anecdote: The Las Vegas casino's spend hundreds of millions of Dollars on security...CCTV looking for card counters etc. But the whole shebang was almost bankrupted when they somehow neglected to insure against one of their Mega-star performers ( Roy Horn of Siegfried and Roy) almost being killed by a tiger....such was the size of the payout....I can't remember the figure.
