Hendo starting for England. Bound to get an injury that'll get him out for months.

Wouldn't be surprised tbh. Fml, so pissed atm.

Owl just copying every formation we have played. 4-4-2 diamond with Sterling at the top of midfield.

Sterling being isolated in this game, getting kicked around too.

Sterling doesn't play so well with Rooney. If that was Sturridge they would be linking up and making space for eachother. Rooney likes to play as a deep Striker and Sterling as a number 10... they are trying to play in the same area too much. Rooney needs to come off or push up more with Welbeck to let Sterling patrol the number 10 area more freely.

That and his having to come so deep because Wilshere isn't doing his job properly, for me Wilshere needs to sit back more instead Sterling is coming deep to collect the ball, which isn't helping anyone.

Think Roy has it wrong with Wilshere playing the holding role, should be Hendo.

Copy other, better managers, exactly what I'd do if I was a charlatan who somehow managed to con my way into a multi million pound job that I was vastly under qualified to have.

In fairness, excellent play by the front three. Delicious cross from Raheem as well. Everything good about England goes through him. What a player.

Delph has been better than I expected him to be today. Been our best midfielder out there so far. Even if he is a little reckless in the tackle.

It was right to bring Wilshire off because he was quite poor. He gave the ball away cheaply while we had men forward and that is unacceptable at any level of football.
