I knew about the Top Gear track.

F1 though? That would explain the delays. People would buy PS3's for that very purpose.

      Can't wait for this.

      Wow.

I'm not a huge fan of racers, but that is a F***ing brilliant game, by the looks of it!!

Might get it, if I have the money.

      2nd November 2010 release date.

Got a feeling it'll definitely be that date. :f_tongueincheek:

Epic stuff though. Over 1000 cars. 20 base tracks with more than 70 variations.

Can't wait to take a Lamborghini Murcielago down the Laguna Seca corkscrew.

List of about 1000 cars, much too big to post, located here.

      http://granturismo5carlist.blogspot.com/

Had a skim through. The Aston Martin bunch looks quite good, including the new Rapide. :)

EDIT: Escort and Sierra Cosworths. YES!!!!

Just had a full skim through.

Porsches, Lamborghinis and Ferraris are all there. The range of Mustangs, Ford and Shelby, are fantastic. I also see a lot of F1 and BTCC cars. ;D

Under Universal Studios too, there's the cars from the Fast and Furious films. :D

      Cannot wait for this. :)

Looked through it meself and am amazed. To be honest, i would be very surprised if they did actually have 10 000 cars. That list looks too extensive to be true.

      What do you think?

They've said it's 1000 cars (one thousand, to avoid any confusion :D). It is more likely to be different specs/ages of the same car too. From the looks of the list of Fords, there could be at least 50 different Mustangs, ranging from 60's to present, and Fords, Shelby's, etc. And that's just Mustangs. Same with Camaros and Corvettes.

I saw about 10 different Murcielagos. There were American and European spec Ford Focus'. It is things like that which will bulk the list out. But no matter which way you look at it, that's 1000 different cars they've developed in to the one game.

      That's f**king monumental.

Can't wait to get all Top Gear on it. I'll go missing for a few weeks, just playing with cars.

I bought prologue a long time ago. It's just a teaser game. Avoid it now though and save for the main game. It'll be worth it

Picked mine up yesterday. Having read poor reviews i wasn't that excited before i played it, but once you start playing, it's hard to stop.

The F1 car makes me drool. Only 12 000 000 CR.

It's a good thing you don't have to complete the licensing.
