we need to be aware of how they spend that cash other than paying the debt ,may be they pay for the Argentinian now!
will Real come back with big cheque for Alonso now? i think not.
£139 mil is a lot of cash to dish out just wish some would feed back down to the grassgrgroots of the  i game but lets not hold our breath hey.

They maybe getting 80 mil but they wont come out of this as well as they think they will now have citys problem of teams jacking up the price because they know they have the cash so really they're not gonna get a hell of a lot for that money.

Good point.  Do they need a fat left back?

Funniest post of the thread.   :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

80 million what a crock of sh*t. Oh well F**k off Ronaldo...I for one will be glad I never have to see that show pony standing over the ball with his F***ing stance, ready to take a free kick in the EPL, again.

Their owner, sorry president, is a Billionair.

Has any one seen a ship wreck off the coast, 'cos SSN seems to have a lot of Dead Wood commentating on this.
If ive got it right, for some reason the Real President cant use his own personal fortune at Real, thats what theyve just said on Sky. I know it sounds mad but they say his real value is raising funds from sponsorships e.t.c and he can t use his own dough..?

Retail giant Primark have issued a statement saying: "Real Madrid should have approached us, because we do big girls blouses for only £4.99."

Real madrid got a 300 million Euros deal out of selling their TV broadcasting rights for 8 consecutive seasons two seasons ago. Perez just decided to splash them in one season. Manure has no one better than ronaldo to even think of buying. So, we got ourselves in a good situation without doing sh*te :)

Can't our club just retract their games from Sky and everyone else and host the channel themselves with all our games on? I'd pay 20 quid a month if they gave me what they've got now plus every game live. And I bet millions would. I don't know how the TV rights contracts work, obviously! The future for me is being able to purchase something, just one thing, at the beginning of the season that means you can watch every Liverpool game live in good quality without nobheads commentating and talking about the mancs all the time or being a bitter blue.

Surely, in this day and age, that's not too much to ask.

EDIT to say: And we all buy it and still pay £40 to go to the game. Proper fans us! :)

I'm not 100% sure about the figure 300 mils, but I'm positive it's around that. Anyway, Yea gow, that would be gold, but EPL works differently. they sell the rights of EPL altogether, and the higher you get in the league, the higher your cut. This surely means eternal doom for small teams coz they can't depend on their fanbase to "subscribe" and get extra cash, and it means steady income for big teams, that's where manure get their cash off, being first or runner up for so many years. I care little about little teams per se if you like, but it would be a matter of pros and cons if each club can sell its own rights individually.

Pros: We're a massive club that can earn a lot of money this way

Cons: We're supposed to feel guilty because we're a big club.

Apparently on his Medical he has a Hernia Injury! £20m off, anyone.

Neil Ruddock on SSN said yesterday, if he is worth £80m, then Gerrard and Toress are worth £120m....EACH.

I have spent a little time just browsing over the United forums and must laugh a bit.

They seem to be going through a girlfriend break up

At first they are shocked....then angry....then in denial....then angry again....and that is where they are right now
