Ill Bill, R.A. the Rugged Man, Benefit, Kno (from CunningLynguists), Looptroop, Necro, Vinnie Paz, Eyedea,
Slug, Aesop Rock, El-P, Apathy, Cage, Sabac Red, Mac Lethal, Copywrite, Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip

edit: I'm not even including any Latino rappers or Brother Ali because he's albino.  Might have forgotten a few too ???
      Who the F**k they are?

At this present time no one is even f***in close to the Eminem.

      Oh and about the Album

After listening to this album it should remove any doubts about Eminem; after a few hard years for him and a few lackluster releases he is right back on top of his game with this album. The content of the songs are top quality, whether it’s addressing the death of Proof, his battles with drugs, his last couple of releases or just unloading line after line of obscene, angry, funny and at times border line psychotic material, he is right back where he should be at the top of the rap game.

Recovery is an excellent album, it’s good to see Eminem returning to form with this release. My top five songs from the album are “No Love”, “25 To Life”, “Space Bound”, “Talkin To Myself” and “So Bad.” This could quite easily be the album of the year.

I'm glad you admit you haven't got a clue who those rappers are but are confident enough to make the call that they're not even close to Eminem.  Benefit is the only one who doesn't rap anymore after, funnily enough, getting fu**ed over by Shady records, but that's a story for another day.

I can understand people who have listened to all these artists and still genuinely feel Eminem is better (I personally can't see it, I was pretty big on Eminem back in the late 90s but by the early 2000s, Eminem wasn't doing anything for me).  At least listen to some of these artists before making a decision.

vitez, the fact that no one knows who the F**k they are confirms that they don't have a patch on Eminem.

      Rejoice, my son!! Abso-F***ing-lutely.

In terms of substance, i reckon 'Almost Famous' deserves to be there, but No Love is F***ing immense!

This Marsh in not mellow. Genius, Marshall.

That does play a certain part ;)

:D Apart from that, just a powerful video. I love the song, and think they did a great job of the video.

I loved the song. Now i can just tolerate it. The radio slayed this song for about 2 months straight beyond the point where you knew the words, you knew the video clip actions also. Ridiculous.

But a fantastic song and video.

Exactly the reason i don't listen to much radio unless it's classic rock stations (like Triple M in Oz) - i hate the way stations that carry the new music slay songs like that. I've only heard the song twice on the radio! :D

Deadly.  He constantly rhymes the same word with itself and mispronounces things to makes them rhyme.  Also, he's horrendously off beat for most of that verse.

edit: To his credit, there was a few clever lines in there (even if a few were borrowed to say the least).

When you listen to the song and the places he pauses to highlight two connecting sentences that are meant to go together, eg. I can see these people's ears perk up as i begin to spaz with the pen, you can see how they rhyme.

Sorry mate, but Eminem is one of the best lyricists of all time and his verses are as aggressive as anyone. Don't take him on, or you'll be the next Mariah.

That's called not having flow.  He constantly speeds up and slows down his lines to make it work.  Like I said, Eminem might be classed as one of the best lyricists of all time by the mainstream but the guy gets no shine or props in the hip hop scene.  The guy doesn't battle, his verses aren't that aggressive (maybe for popular music yeah) and picking a fight with a pop star really speaks volumes about him, of course he's going to be better lyrically than Mariah - Mariah's career is based around her eight octave voice, not her lyrics or ability to go head to head with other artists.  Essentially Mariah's playing right into Eminem's hand here as a lot of hip hop is about battling.  I find it funny I haven't seen the guy battle another emcee since the late 90s.

His day's of underground  battling are well and truly gone.

He was the best it's what took him to the top, deny it all you want.
