Had a great one last night!! Yesterday was definitely one of the single most weirdest days I've had for a long time. And I was thankful it ended on a high.

Went to the NME tour that was on at Liverpool Uni. The line up was Florence And The Machine, White Lies, Friendly Fires and Glasvegas.

Missed Florence And The Machine, but wasn't bothered because I'm not a fan. And Glasvegas (who were on last) weren't up to much. They weren't helped much by following Friendly Fires!

White Lies were brilliant live! Only got their album the other week and there's some good tunes on it. But Friendly Fires blew it away! Got their album a few months ago and I still play it often. They stole the show for me last night and I was glad to see them play finally. Lots of energy and great live! I was in there jumping about with the kids - declined the opportunity to crowd surf though, didn't want to be liable for a claim.  ;)

Hope this year will be a big one for Friendly Fires, they deserve it. Watch out for them.

I went to see UB40 with my parents at Delamere Forest years ago haha, I didn't want to go but they assured me I would enjoy it. I did actually to be honest, and I have been to a lot of gigs in the past.

is any body got gigs or concerts lined up this year? ime hopefully going to go to download this year. and also going to see Styx, deep purple, and thin Lizzy in cardiff CIA. oh ya and the auzzy pink Floyd. so hope they will live up to the hype that I have herd bout them.  :action-smiley-035: :action-smiley-035: :action-smiley-035: :action-smiley-035:
Australian Pink Floyd are FUKCIN' AWESOME!!!!!!!  I saw them here in Atlanta,Ga.USA. Awesome. I would find the "real" Pink Floyd having a problem putting on a better show.  Here in Atlanta they did "The Wall" Unreal!!! They had the Wall stage set-up,Laser lights, that giant round, lava lamp light thing that the real Floyd used. I thought I traveled back in time before Waters and Gilmore split the band. Totally worth any money paid. 3 hour sets.

I have been to a lot of concerts Pink Floyd w/ Waters, U2,Pearl Jam,Nirvana,Alice in Chains,Police,Rolling Stones,Kiss,Black Sabbath,George Thorogood,Stevie Ray Vaughn, Bowie etc,etc...Australian Pink Floyd was the Best Live Concert.

I'm going to see Gerry and the Pacemakers tonight.

After seeing Gerry at Anfield yesterday, I'm hoping to have a word with him afterwards, taking my Liverpool scarf for when he sings You'll Never Walk Alone.

Hope it was a good'un! Although after being at Anfield myself yesterday, it sounds like Gerry's voice is starting to sound a bit rough.
