Watched Explosions in the Sky last night here in Rio. Does anyone else like them? What an epic band. I never thought seeing an instrumental band could be so good.

Went to see the 'Roses in Finsbury Park on Friday.

Band were great (even Ian Brown's vocals were decent), although everything else was sh*te there!

Off to see Soundgarden in October, jizzing myself about it already!

Very Excited about going to The Vaccines / Edward Sharpe / Mumford & Sons / Ben Howard next month in Phoneix Park.

Was hoping to get Bruce in this summer too, but gonna have to settle for a few DJ sets in Ibiza instead!

I'm actually excited to be honest! He does seem like a good entertainer so if he keeps to the classics I'll be happy out!

Yes, yes, yes!!! Blur are coming to Brazil this November! It's finally official! I'll do everything I possibly can to be there. One of my favorite bands ever.

That should be good! I enjoyed their album with Old White Lincoln & 59 Sound. I have their latest one alright too, I listened to ya!, and have listened to it a good bit.

My music tastes have changed a good bit over the last year or 2 tho to more electronic/dancey/hip-hop stuff so that's probably why I haven't gotten into it as much.

Just come back from Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band from Hampden Park tonight.

Seriously - one of the most epic and mos memorable nights of my entire life. And they played the E Street Shuffle as well!!! It was simply mind blowing! You could genuinely take someone who is not interested in music or a Springsteen fan and even they would have enjoyed it. Incredible!

Some absolute corkers he pulled out for it. One particular highlight was It's Hard to Be a Saint in the City. Pianist for the E Street Band mesmerised me on that song! And Clarence Clemons nephew Jake is more than an able replacement for his uncle. He was brilliant! Will definitely try to find some videos of tonight on youtube within the next few days. Brilliant thing was that there were a few songs I wasn't overly familiar with yet that only made the occasion even more special. You'll enjoy it massively Diego when he does Rock in Rio! I have no doubt it will be one of the finest live acts you'll ever witness!

Great setlist, I'm very much looking forward to him coming to Rio. I just wish he would play 'The River' here... apparently he doesn't play it too much these days.

I think "Death to My Hometown" is one of his best songs from the last albums!

I'm not sure how it compares to FMS's night at Bruce but we had a great night at Gaslight last night.

Great band who are as good live as I'd hoped and a great wee venue to see live music.
