I have seen people say they don't rate the Beatles or Macca and thats fine but its ok to not like them but they are the most influential group of young lads ever to grace a stage. Lets face it Oasis made a living as a tribute band.
I remember a group from the late 70's or early 80's I would see called the bootleg Beatles or similar they were amazing live in a small venue after a drink or two.

Live on BBC tonight,  seen them.live a couple of times

      Watched that last night.

Really impressed by Kelly Jones, loved the inclusion of the line about scouser playing footy in Local Boy in the Photograph.

Still a Reds fan at heart is Kelly, remember him wearing the 70s lfc shirt at HJC justice concert.

I wish people went to see more live music there is nothing like it even a pub band can be awesome. Paul McCartney 80 today FFS how did that happen. 2008 on the Kop to see him live what a night and much better than in 2003 at a freezing Kings dock sat on top of a scaffolding with the wind cutting you in half from the Mersey. Elton John was at Anfield last night which sound like a fantastic night if somewhat expensive unless you made your way to Stanley Park apparently

Amazing. The greatest living icon in music today is Sir Paul. Would love to see him re-visit Anfield.

Elton and Rolling Stones at Anfield in the last week or so. Not bad. Heard rumours that Springsteen may be pencilled in at Anfield for next summer. That'd be sensational.

you still get a unique Atmosphere at Anfield for an event like this not the same as a Euro night but still electric. Love to see Springsteen if that came off. Elton had some very kind words for our club and Sir Kenny having played at the Cavern and the Phil this is a unique hatrick.

Couple weekends back went to Manchester Calling in Belfast Limelight.

Fantastic night. Oasis, The Smith's and Stone Roses tribute acts.

To see most of the cored there you'd think the real thing was in front of us😂

It was even more awesome than I thought.

Goosebump moments, joyous moments, reflective moments all over almost 3 hours.

Possibly the best band I've seen live, they are playing so tight right now.

Robert Smith is one of my favourite people and to see him live was amazing, that voice crystal clear and powerful at that age is something else.

      Alright Si.

All this talk of your gig: I'm sorry but just couldn't resist reminding you that I played guitar in a big 80s pop Goth band.

Called 'Prevention'...  we were better than 'The Cure'.  :lmao:

Fleetwood Mac's 1997 concert 'The Dance' is on BBC 4 tonight. Absolutely fantastic.

      Rest in peace Christine McVie.

All the talk around this Asake concert in Brixton is the usual boring and predictable stuff about ticketless fans and a sprinkling of racism on top.

It's funny reading all the gammon tweets surrounding this, it's like none of the cu*ts were in the vicinity of Wembley before the Italy final.

Being reported that a 33 year old woman has died from her injuries.

Myself, the missus and two friends are going to see Heilung in Dublin in 9 days time...
It's more a ceremony/experience than a gig though, in fairness...

Saw The Boss at Murrayfield on Tuesday night. Absolute perfection - the very very best and an absolute dream to see him once again on the most beautiful day as well. I loved it so much.

Been to quite a few gigs this year and have tickets for even more till the end of the year.

Seen black midi four nights in a row as I am slightly obsessed with them, Uruguayan singer-songwriter Jorge Drexler (incredible artist to see live) and Black Country, New Road.

Later this year I'm seeing four different Brazilian artists here in London, the main highlight being Gilberto Gil at the Royal Albert Hall.

I also got Rancid in a couple of weeks, Blur at Wembley in July and Black Country, New Road again in November.

That is probably the best thing about being in London. The worst part is how much these tickets cost. F**k me, I'm broke now
