      Fathers Day
      Jun 19, 2009 08:57:02 pm
Well this Sunday is Fathers Day.

After watchng the TV adverts for the pressies you could be receivng on Sunday I have come to the decision that there are 3 types of Dads.

All we can expect to receive on Sunday is a poxy re-hashed CD.  :f_wah:

      So whch Dad are you?

Jeremy Clarkson...the Hard 80's Classic Rock

James May...the Soft 70's Classic Rock

Richard Hammond... the 90's Popular Rock.

Personally you can stuff all of these stereo typed CD's up yer arse. Same old sh*t re-hashed every year. Come on Give us something we want Beer or "snuggles" with the special lady! now that's a great Day!

My dad's the type that downloads all the stuff he wants, and even the stuff he doesn't want. Trouble is, you can't download Galaxy bars or sherbet lemons, so that's what he got for Father's Day!

The trouble with having a Dad and a Step Dad is that have to spend twice as much much. However, there is an upside - My real dad lives in Malta so might just be delayed in the post for a few days ;)

Well, I've already had the presents my boys made me at school. :D Two lovely paintings and a recited poem each, great stuff!

As for Sunday, I'll just be hoping for a nice bit of breakfast in bed after a lie-in, there's no harm in dreaming! ;)

I was just about to ask you some serious questions when I first read that.

Going halves with my sis to get him a watch and then I'll lash some dosh in a card for him too. Much easier that way as he can get what he wants and I don't have to use my brain.

Happy Fathers day to all the forum daddies.

My boys have got me a card and a bottle of something (judging by the shape).  Dunno what the missus has bought my old fella - a card and a bottle of something probably.

My youngest has also had a message recorded to go on the tv or radio.

      Gotta love kids...sometimes.   ;)

As well as a card and bottle (of Captain Morgan's   ;D  ) I got a Lynx shower/deo set, a new LFC T-Shirt and a day trip to Pafos which turned out to be an overnight stay in a 5 star hotel - all inclusive of course.

Thanks kids (and the missus for arranging it   ;)  ).

A selection of beers from the Cats,  :food-smiley-005:

....now I have to ask, where did the Cats get the money for the Beer, and who the dickens sells Beer to Cats?  :confused-smiley-013:
