US Open Golf

It's the start of Golfs second major today at Bethpage Black course near New York.

Woods us usual is the favourite and is bang on form.

the course is a monster and the weather forecast is complete rubbish.  i'm hoping against hope for a European winner.  there hasn't been one for 39 years!

The US Open is usually the toughest of the 4 majors and can make the pros look complete crap.

will anyone be watching it??  Who do you fancy as the winner?

Tiger's first drive was way, way, WAY left yet he still got a par...go figure

Several nobody's on top but only because barely 9 holes have been played from the morning groups

Sodding rain has just spoilt my evenings viewing!

Gutted I was just getting into a 6 hour sitting position has it been abandoned for the day.

I predict that Woods will struggle and someone unfancied will win this one.
