Liverpool pre-season 2007/08

Thinking about the summer ahead - hopefully we will have Champions League football - even if it is a qualifer.  But do you not think the last pre-season was a bit grim with those games in Austria and Germany. Now we're under new management.....

What are the odds we are going to United States and playing LA Galaxy this summer?

Well, I'm not much of a betting man. But I wouldn't be too surprised if that was the case next pre season.....

How about Japan and somewhere else in Asia, it's an area Gillett wants to exploit commercial wise, plus there was also a piece in the echo last week about this can't remember what night though.

LIVERPOOL will be expected to play promotional friendlies in Japan and China now they have been taken over by US sports moguls Tom Hicks and George Gillett.
Chief executive Rick Parry has flown to the United States for talks about the club’s future with their new owners, and he is likely to be told the “brand” needs to be promoted more in the Far East.

it would be amazing to have the reds come over to play in the US. i could actually watch the game!!! but i would have to restrain myself from watchin that beckh@m scum.

im sure i read somewhere rafa only fancies going into europe for tours so as not to leave players jet lagged
