      PES 2010

PES 2010 is released this autum and our very own Fernando Torres and Lionel Messi are the two players confirmed by konami on the front cover I know the previous two titles have been poor but now El Nino is on the front surely it will beat Fifa 2010.

Yeah Nando deserves to be on the front cover!

The graphics are F***ing class. I love Nando's face in the game.

I don't think even Nando could save it now. :D

They've got to step up a considerable amount, because no-one can deny that FIFA is going to improve a lot too.

The competition is only doing good for the people who play the games though. They are playing off each other and as a result we're getting much better games every year. Long may it continue.

I've loved both Fifa and PES for a long time now but the thing I hate most about fifa is that fat ugly tw*t Ronney is on the front cover can't someone like Stevie G be on the front

      That does look very good.

Hmm, when does the demo of this come out? I may need to try both Fifa and Pro Evo this year.

Nando looks like real. And PES is better than FIFA IMO because PES gameplay is more realistic than FIFA. In PES you CAN score from a corner/cross, but in FIFA it looks like allmost impossible. And if PES would have more interesting game modes, I think that it would be much better than FIFA.

You can score from corners on Fifa, not too hard at all actually.

If Pro Evo still haven't sorted out the licensing problems then I guess this game will still be a no go for me. I generally prefer Fifa due to the realism of everything but then again if the gameplay for Pro Evo is better this time round that may sway me considering I spend most of the time playing online on football games nowadays.

Last year I found Pro Evo bad though, far off Fifa. I can only see Fifa improving to be honest, and all licensing is sorted for them so they can concentrate on making the gameplay even better.

Like I say though, I will probably try out both before making a decision.

      Agreed.

First off the music and general appearance of the games needs sorting. Far too arcade-like which is a real put off for me.

I hate the fact that all of the tournaments you can play in have rubbish names too.

Gameplay wise too as it's too basic imo and the shooting is terrible imo as is the threwball and A.I. too

the gameplay on PES has been getting worse since it came out on Next Gen. Fifa has dominated the 09 series of the games and PES needs to seriously book up its idea's if it has any chance of getting a sniff of Fifa's dominence.

The main problem fpr PES is the lag online, So frigging bad :(

Ah, in that case things look even more unlikely for me buying this.

I'm pretty sure I'll stick with Fifa.

      Sticking with Fifa.

Never ever liked PES for some reason.

2010's cover will look boss though. ;)

I haven't bought a Fifa game since 1998 when bergkamp was on the cover, I've always stuck with pes simply because I thought the gameplay was more realistic to true football and I also prefer the graphics. But I've got to admit that Pes is very very far behind Fifa when it comes to Game modes,Licensing, and online play. You can do 10v10 on Fifa can't you? I hope Pes can learn off the improvements Fifa is making.

To be honest I'm a PES boy, got FIFA but can't play it properly and the graphics in terms of looking like players are sh*t.

PES has fallen so far behind Fifa.

They need to skip one year and create a decent game. Everything is too rigid, the physics are all over the shop, and the whole game needs to be re done.

For pes to get back to it's best it needs to look back at the great games like pes 4 and then maybe this year we can have the classic pes again. As for Fifa the best one is FIFA 98 always will be unless on the new one you can play in a indoor arena.

Dossena? With very dark hair. That's my guess anyway.
