Thought he had a very solid game yesterday and again put to bed the myth that he can't defend.

he isn't a miracle worker, he can't play Blackburn and expect to be up against the Man City attack.

Thank fowler he was not up against the City attack, just because he was the best of a horrific back 3 does not suddenly make him a decent defender.
      Maybe this is Johnsons level?

100% he will be off if an offer comes in, he's had his day as a top RB(he was one once) thanks for all you've done now go and take your big salary with you so we can use that to give Henderson and sterling the extra to sort out long term deals

Agreed - he wasn't the problem against Blackburn. Still won't mind seeing him go mind, but his faults have been grossly exaggerated

Glen Johnson is half the player Moreno is on double the salary.

That's why he needs to go.

agree with Baz on this one, he's been a great servant of the club and scored some great goals but over last 3 seasons has got worse with age and now injury prone. get rid use the extra cash to sort out Hendo and Sterling deals

Johnson whose contract expires in the summer is reportedly interested in joining fellow former England  full-back Ashley Cole at Roma.

Our worst player last night, he just couldn't string 2 passes together and ran blindly into the opposition.

      His time is up

SOOOOOOOOOO glad he's leaving in the summer offers nothing now, with all his experiance you would think he would become a great defender and not get up the line as much and be able to read the game alot more whilst shouting at the defence etc; but he dont. He still tries to do them runs we all loved but his legs have gone and he then struggles to get back into position.
he's not the best at reading a game and oftern is caught out by a pass in through the back of him. Thanks for all you've gave to LFC but also glad to see the back of him now he's done.

I'm sure he used to be pretty good on the ball didn't he? That was his saving grace... Didn't string together a run of 2 or 3 passes without a mistake last night. Horror show. Where is Jon Flanagan!

At one stage of his childhood, he lived in a hostel as his mother had nowhere to live. Johnson credits his mother with helping him develop a football career, he said "She had a tough time, bringing up three kids as a single parent with no help apart from the goodwill of close friends, and there were times when we had nowhere to stay.

"At one point we were homeless and staying in a hostel, but once mum got herself on her feet after a few hard years, and passed her driving test so she could take me to football every week, that gave us a fresh start."[7]

      From Wikipedia.

Whatever stick he has taken with his performances and one of the last big contract players , this guy has still worn the shirt of Liverpool Football Club and shouldn't leave this summer as just the forgotten man.
He represented his country as well as his club.

      Respect.
