Cleared a few more films of my Lovefilm queue this month, none were great until tonight's one, a few that would fall into the interesting category though.
Rushmore, interesting and I'm still unsure if it was the quirkiness or the film that I enjoyed, The Mighty, touching comedy drama that again is quirky and, until tonight would have been my favourite they've sent me this month, Free Money, Charlie Sheen and Brando, again quirky and a small story, but an enjoyable watch. He Got Game has a great performance from Denzel Washington and Always Outnumbered has a star turn from Laurence Fishburne that made both more than the small stories they contained. Very Bad Things was fun but deteriorated into silliness by the end.
Finally, my Lovefilm choice of the month, The Story Of Us. Michelle Pfeiffer and Bruce Willis, essentially a character piece centring on their marriage. Recognised far too many truths in it, uncomfortable at times but both leads carry this film with aplomb.
