Just finished The Post and found it very average.

It was clearly a tense time for the Washington Post but watching you didn't feel that at all.

Still to see it. My brother saw it at the start of the year and thought it was fantastic.

I actually enjoyed it more than I expected to as well. It really nailed the look and feel of MMO's and felt very immersive. That Shining scene was incredible.

I'm reliably informed by my lad that the things I kept pointing out and laughing at are called Easter Eggs.
Not being a big gamer, I didn't really hear the term before, but little touches like the battle scene where the asian guy "Transforms" he was coming out of a Firefly class spaceship (I loved Firefly).

      Very enjoyable :)

Yeah I went to see it with the missus in the cinema reluctantly, but really enjoyed it in the end.

      Hold the Dark.

Alaska was great. Broody and dark. Could've been good. But what in the hell was it about   [don't explain, I don't care]

Going to see A Star is Born with the missus.

Not usually the type of movie I'd be bothered with but so tired of repetitive superhero and star wars movies I'm actually looking forward to seeing a movie with good acting and a storyline for a change.

I do like the odd chick flick once in a while :D Although I am not sure if A Star is Born is considered one? But from the trailer, I am leaning more towards chick flick!

I heard everyone is blubbing by the end of it. Supposed to be good though.

Watched Captain America:Civil War and really enjoyed it.

Am planning on catching up on the Marvel universe after watching the Avengers, Infinity War and not having a clue what was going on as haven’t watched a Marvel movie in so long.

I was very disappointed with it mate as was herself. Massively overrated not much of a story very cliched and the Gaga acting is ok at best. Some of the music and concert scenes were good but I expected much more given all the hype. Ending was extremely contrived as well to try force a tear but it rang hollow for me.

The Night Comes For Us just out on Netflix.

It's like the Raid movies on steroids.

      Just back from Bohemian Rhapsody.

Fantastic and one of the best of the year for me. Rami Malek really captures Freddie, which isn't easy for such an iconic man, but he was unreal.

Builds up to the Live Aid performance and sat with goosebumps during it tinged with sadness that he died so young.

Don't listen to the critics and go and see it.

I really thought that movie was very gripping. From the opening scene I was hooked to see where it was going. Pretty basic plot, but some really good actors and beautiful cinematography.

      Really enjoyed BlacKkKlansman.

Funny in parts but also hard hitting showing the evils of the Klan in the past and present.

Saw First Man. Some film goers have been a bit sniffy about it but I really really enjoyed it. I thought the Moon landing scene was epic. Though I don't think they needed to bring it back down to earth after the scene where Armstrong is standing looking over into the crater.

The film would have been a 10/10 if they went for a twist where instead of actually showing Armstrong flying out to space and landing on the actual moon,  they instead decided to have the "moon landing" on a film set :D
