I liked it, a typical fu**ed up Tarantino picture, seemed to be more having a dig at Hollywood and stars through the 1960s.

Oh I liked it well enough.
When I say great, I meant not his best.
Pulp Fiction was his best, I think, and this falls some way short of that.

I seem to be watching Pulp fiction every few weeks these days and it seems to get better each time. Watching it without Advert Breaks is the only way to fully enjoy it.

First trip to the cinema in almost a year the other day to watch 1917.

Feel like I've heard that statement a lot.  Definitely done some big box office numbers.  Agree about the comments that it wouldn't be the same on TV.

Watched it in Amsterdam last month - a rare trip to the cinema for me and the missus too!

Disappointed Joker didn't get the Oscar for best movie.

      Still not seen that film!

      The casting was genius.

Travolta, out of nowhere, older, a bit fat, but F***ing mesmerising in a role that he played in a really understated way.

Really enjoyed Ford v Ferrari, excellent film and thought both Bale and Damon were superb in it.

Watched Jay and Silent Bob Reboot the other night and laughed my arse off, all the usual cameos from their actor mates, but the reboot/remake discussion is on a par with the Star Wars v Lord of the Rings trilogy argument from Clerks 2.

Can't be doing with Carry  On films myself mate.

Been on at my wife for years about how great Laurel And Hardy were so might eventually try and persuade her to watch a few of those over the coming weeks.

Yea the Coogan film is pretty good and he and John C Reilly do great jobs in their roles but still not quite the same as the real deal.

Missus had us watch Coffee and Kareem this afternoon.

I hope none of you have to plummet to those depths during this time.

As bad a film as I've see in my life and for some reason she's always attracted to the sh*te 'comedies'.

Have Disney+ at least for a month and decided to do all the Star Wars films in chronological order as I've never done that before.

Started with The Phantom Menace on Friday and it's actually a worse film than I remember. Not convinced I can see this through but we'll see.

On viewings I've already done over the years I still have he original trilogy and Rogue One as my top 4 and not sure if that'll change over the coming days/weeks.

      I Kill Giants

I think this may very well be a marmite film, it's beautifully shot, it deals very well with its subject matter. It withholds its true nature for far too long though and, even if only through periphery characters, they'd let more of the true nature of the film come through earlier. Having said that, I really liked it, but I think I may have gotten more of I had read the graphic novel it is based on.

Update on this and watched the other 2 prequels last week.

Attack of the Clones is still a mess but enjoyed Revenge of the Sith a lot more and definitely a better film than I remember it being on first watch.
