Really? I think Skyfall is my favorite of the Craig era. Although Casino Royale is very close behind.

Of all the Bonds though, nothing will beat Thunderball as my all time favorite.

I love it mate. Skyfall is great but Casino Royale has everything you would want from a Bond movie.

I'm the same, Skyfall is my fave Daniel Craig Bond movie.

      Just back from Jaws.

Haven't seen it in ages and great to see on the big screen.

Was in 3D and I'm not really a fan but it didn't take anything away from the movie. Didn't add to it either.

Ah didn't know that was in the cinemas. One of the first films that comes to mind when I think of those I'd have loved to have seen on the big screen. Didn't know they were still doing 3D though - reckon the last (and only) 3D film I saw in the cinemas was Toy Story 2 (re-released around 2010 with those dark glasses - guessing they still have those?)

Didn't know it was 3D either until I booked it. It's definitely not a big thing even going five years back when I was a Cinema Manager.

      Banshees of Inisherin

Fantastic. Laughed the entire way through and although the leads were great the stand out for me was Barry Keoghan.

You go the flicks for this, Si?

I want to see it but I've got no chance of getting to the flicks so waiting on other avenues

Half way through watching a documovie called 'Searching for Sugar Man' about Sixto Rodriguez. I'd never heard of him until this but I'll be listening to his two albums as soon as I've finished watching it. What a cool as f**k,  yet, mysterious and unbelievably talented guy

Edit: Just finished it. What an absolutely incredible story.

'All Quiet on the Western Front' on Netflix.

WW1, from the German POV, subtitled.

Liked it, deffo got a feel for the mud, the trenches, the pointlessness.

Some bits reminded me a little of The Revenant, where just slot in pictures of nature, trees, mountains - I guess to contrast against what 'we' then turn all that into.

Caught this a few days back. Best film I've seen since before COVID. Loved it from start to finish - can't remember the last time I laughed as much in a cinema

Casino Royale back in the cinema and went last night.

Still the best Bond movie for me.

Skyfall is the best Daniel Craig Bond movie and by some distance.
It's a pity it didn't wrap up there because it felt like it tied up the DC time perfectly.

Saw it last week. Not an easy watch, but a very powerful film, I highly recommend it.

Definitely agree it tied up the Craig era perfectly but still Casino Royale tops it for me.

I need to watch it again because I've developed a man crush on Mads Mikkelsen!

Watched a film called Another Round a few weeks back. He plays a teacher and along with his teacher pals try to reinvigorate their passion for teaching via alcohol! Absolutely superb!
