Just watched the Chicago - Vancouver game, in which the Nux destroyed Chicago 5-1.

      Awesome game.

Ducks v Blues = Awesome. Ducks were 3-0 down with 14 minutes to go. Scored 3 in the last 14, including the equalizer with just 30 seconds to go, then went on to win in the shootout ;D

Good game on throughout the US for anyone with NHL Network, Blackhawks v Sharks, 2nd and 1st in Western Conference respectively. Hawks went up 3-0 real quick, but Sharks got 1 back and it's been pretty even since, end of first period it will be 3-1.

EDIT: What a great game that ended up being, Sharks got it back to 3-3 before Blackhawks won it in OT. Real offensive show, something like 75 shots on goal between the teams. Girl is sitting next to me in her Marleau jersey a little disappointed, but they did well to get a point. Major factor was Sharks top line was largely shut down, Marleau, Thornton and Heatley did not have a huge impact and it told in the end.

To top off a good wake-up this morning with the result this morning, the Ducks resigned our goalie Jonas Hiller for 4 more years. Quality goalie and im glad the Ducks have made sure we have him for a few more years yet.

Only downer is the trade of Giguere looks likely in the near future, a legend at the Ducks and always sad when someones career is coming to a close, but he will always be remembered. Hopefully a few more quality games in the lad yet.

      Watched the Nux game.

3-0 down going into the second, and the legendary Sedins strike again! Nux won 5-3.

Goals for Daniel Sedin (2), Henrik Sedin (1) and Alex Burrows (2).

I am not the biggest Giggy fan, never a fan of those big goalies who simply use their size to stop the puck but knowing how he can play in the past he would be a very good improvement of what we gave you guys who is a small goalie who overplays the puck and is the worst shootout goalie in NHL history. I guess the big thing for the Ducks is dumping the 6m a year that Giggy made so it free up some room to make another deal.

Yeah, he may not be technically the best (ive had my frustrations) but anyone who can be an MVP goalie in a LOSING championship series has got the balls to take ya places. He doesn't get flustered, always calm. As long as he has a decent defense to work with, he'll be great for you guys :) Ill be rooting for the Leafs a little more just because hes there :D

My main hope is we sign up Bobby Ryan quick to a nice deal, he is one player who could be a real franchise man for years to come. Already is a huge fan favorite!

I know how to spell Canucks, don't worry about that.

I know many people that spell it 'Nux', it's a shorthand way.

      Nux playing Ottawa tonight.

Apparently both teams put together have won 17 our of 18 games.

      Something's got to give.

JS has done well, right now he is the number 1 goalie at the club with our Swedish goalie having trouble adjusting to the style of play in the NHL.

Was gonna bump this myself :D

Alright let's get into it! My Ducks are in a race for a playoff spot so I'm really hoping they come out flying, we had a fair few players in the Olympics so I'm hoping that doesn't hinder them. Hopefully helps as they have kept up match fitness.

Be interesting to see which clubs are the major sellers and buyers in the small window before the deadline as well.

      Bring it!! ;D

Watching the first NHL game of the run in, Detroit v Colorado. Decent game, 2-1 to Detroit at the moment, hoping the Avs get back and win it in regulation as Detroit need to drop as many points as possible for my Ducks playoff chances ;D

      EDIT: 2-2! ;D

      Seconded.

Although we know what'll happen. They'll look the best team out there by miles in the regular season, get to the playoffs and get knocked out in the first or second round.
