Chicken here as well, having it a bit later, so only just put it in oven.

No roast though, just going to have some chips and curry with it.

It was lovely cheers mate.  Agree with the warm weather though, doesn't seem right doing a roast dinner with all the windows and doors open but my granddaughter loves her dinners  ;D

Had mine yesterday 'cos Liz is in work today, it's a micro w. feast of bolognese or sweet 'n sour for me. Won't be that long either by the noises me belly is making.

edit: Just realised there's a bowl of scouse in the fridge with some spot on meat in it, happy (Sun)days.

Just dished up my roast of shoulder lamb, cooked with goose fat, garlic and mint, honey roasted carrots, roast tatas & green beans. Gravy made with the juices and finished off with a dash of dijon mustard, some mint jelly for the plate and washing it down with a medium-bodied red.

Pork in the slow cooker, won't be ready until after the game, it's smeared with honey & mistard, cooking it with pineapple, bacon and onion.  It'll be served with roast sweet potato, roast carrots, roast parsnips and peas, served with a gravy/sauce made from the juices.  Will be washing it down with Guinness.

It's an experiment, not sure if it'll be lovely....yet.

My last experiment was though, chicken, slow cooked in a summer fruit compote and served with coconut rice.  Washed that down with a Wolf Blass Yellow Label Chardonnay, which is my go to white wine, of late.

      RoddenburyRamsey eh?

I can't do wine - too sophisticated for me. Doesn't agree with the palate and taste buds. Partial to a Guinness though.

I'm sure the pork will turn out! the thought of it has got me worms wiggling.

Throw a roast in the slow cooker before leaving for church, get home and carve it up, then head to the man cave with a plate of roast beef and potatoes and fire up the tv and find the game on DVR.  That's been the routing the last couple weeks, at least with these Sunday games.
