Pork in the slow cooker, won't be ready until after the game, it's smeared with honey & mistard, cooking it with pineapple, bacon and onion.  It'll be served with roast sweet potato, roast carrots, roast parsnips and peas, served with a gravy/sauce made from the juices.  Will be washing it down with Guinness.

What time shall I come round then? (sounds lovely)

It's an experiment, not sure if it'll be lovely....yet.

My last experiment was though, chicken, slow cooked in a summer fruit compote and served with coconut rice.  Washed that down with a Wolf Blass Yellow Label Chardonnay, which is my go to white wine, of late.

      RoddenburyRamsey eh?

I can't do wine - too sophisticated for me. Doesn't agree with the palate and taste buds. Partial to a Guinness though.

I'm sure the pork will turn out! the thought of it has got me worms wiggling.

Throw a roast in the slow cooker before leaving for church, get home and carve it up, then head to the man cave with a plate of roast beef and potatoes and fire up the tv and find the game on DVR.  That's been the routing the last couple weeks, at least with these Sunday games.

Not sure if it counts but just went cafe and got a 1/2 cheeseburger with large chips and a banana milkshake.

      It went down a treat.

Only steak & veg today, but I've added something to the mix, roast portobello mushrooms with blue shopshire cheese and why have I never roasted mushrooms before?  Gorgeous.
